Psalms 127:3 (ESV) Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a blessing, a heritage. One little boy once asked his father, “Dad, where do babies come from?” The wise father responded to his little boy, “Babies come from God, son. They are a gift and blessing.” Dear reader, in this short writing, I pray you come to see how precious each and every child is to our Lord Jesus Christ and likewise how special children should be to a husband and wife—those children are God’s blessing to you! Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them! As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:4-5 (KJV) Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. 5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel. Psalms 128:1-6 (KJV) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. ….Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Gen 2:18, 24 (KJV) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion Gen 1:28 (KJV) But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Luke 18:16-17 (ESV)
