Over our 2 years at Olympia my daughter has gained many friendships she hopes will last a lifetime, and so have I! Olympia is like no other sport community – the coaches and owners are very professional, committed, dedicated and not to mention friendly. You can truly see the love they have for each and every athlete and for the athletes family as well! IMPORTANT AT TENDANCE INFORMATIONAthletes get stronger, advance their skills and begin choreography during the summer. Practices are important, but we do want families to enjoy their summer vacation time, camps and other summer activities. Summer practice policy is (June 10th – September 9th): if you are in town, we need you at practice. We have created a very “weekend friendly” summer schedule so that families can still enjoy weekends together. From September to May, practices become man-datory during our competitive season.
During the competitive season (Sept-May) practice is essential to the success of the teams. Our attendance policy is as follows: We expect that all efforts are made to attend team practices and that families take their commitment seriously. Cheer-leading at Olympia must be a priority for your family. If your athlete is absent from practice, it negatively impacts the team, and will effect their role in the routine. Missing practices immediately before a competition may result in an athlete not being able to compete at the upcoming event. Continued attendance issues will be addressed by the program manager and can impact your athlete’s future team placement.
Competitions are also mandatory. Athletes and their families are expected to make every effort to attend. Please look carefully at the competition schedule, and take into consideration the travel and fees associated with each team. Some teams may travel to USA and may require a passport.

RECREATIONAL CHEEROur recreational summer session starts in June and runs for 10 weeks for the summer. Athletes learn the basics of cheerleading in a fun and interactive way. No competitions and no uniform required.
ALL-STAR PREPAll-Star Prep Teams are Level 1 through Level 2 teams that run September through to May. They are competitive teams, with less schedule commitments and travel. All-Star “Prep” is a great option for beginners, as well as those families who do not want to commit to training in the summer and want to compete at a competition locally. Prep teams will compete at Tidal Blast, provincials and perform at two local showcases.
TRAVEL TEAMSWe will be fielding between 2-3 travel teams this season. Travel teams will attend Cheer Evolution Nationals in Niagara Falls.
