Chrome – Top General Tips

Customise the page you see when you open a new tab with:

• Most visited sites • Chosen links • A picture/logo • Set the background

Set a group of tabs to open with Chrome chrome://settings/onStartup

Log in to Chrome For syncing settings, bookmarks, history, passwords, extensions, and more. ⌘ / CTRL + SHIFT + M

Setup Chrome’s password manager chrome://settings/passwords

Set language for Chrome’s spell-checker Control whether text is sent to Google chrome://settings/languages

Use double quotes to specify a word or phrase is required in the results: Results must include “example”

Change the default search engine: chrome://settings/search

When a page is written with frames, you can reload a single frame and retain the information in any other frames.
