ELLISTON CRAFT AND PRODUCE MARKET UPDATE

The Elliston Craft & Produce Market held on 24th April was again well

received. The 10 stall holders offered a variety of quality items, something for

everyone.

Thanks again to Kaye & Grant Rumbelow

for access to the Hotel beer garden and facilities.

The next market will be held in October in conjunction with the official opening of the Elliston Coastal Trail.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

Keep an eye out for more information at the end of each term as we hold

organised activities for children during the holiday period.

The Eyre Peninsula Camera Clubs Association — A4 enlargements

photography exhibition is touring the Eyre Peninsula and is currently on

display in the hall.

Bring: Comfortable clothing, some water All equipment is supplied (you can bring your own mat if you wish)

Available to Hire:

Golf Clubs — $5 per day Tennis Racquets —$5 for 2 hours (balls included)

(A deposit of $5 per hire will be refunded on

return of all items.)

Please note that any items hired must be returned to the Centre during business hours and

are not available to hire after hours.

The Elliston Dirt Circuit Club has now closed and at the last meeting the Club voted to donate the remaining

funds to: • Elliston Men’s Shed

• Elliston branch of SA Ambulance • Elliston CWA

SALTWATER ROADHOUSE Due to new flooring being installed, the  KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th May. There will be no food available on these days.  Coffee, fuel and general sales (ie: drinks etc) will still be available.

Council invites your comments and feedback on the District Council of Elliston Draft 2016/17 Annual Business Plan and Annual Budget, and the District Council of Elliston Draft Strategic Plan 2016/17 -2020/21, the District Council of Elliston Draft Asset Management Plan 2016/17 -

2025/26 and the Draft Long Term Financial Plan

Council has prepared the above Plans and has now released them for public consultation. Copies of these documents can be obtained at www.elliston.sa.gov.au, by contacting Council on (08) 8687 9177 and requesting a copy, or by collection at the District Council of Elliston Council Office at

21 Beach Terrace, Elliston.

You are invited to a Public Consultation Meeting at 1.00pm Thursday 12 May 2016 at the Council Office to express your views about any of the Plans or Annual Budget.
