From the Principals desk We have an interesting last week of school left with some fun activities to celebrate the great learning throughout the term. Good luck to Marli Ryan and Chloe Thompson competing at the SA Athletics Stadium at Mile End tomorrow. They are part of the Far North and Eyre Peninsula team competing tomorrow in the B grade State Secondary Schools of South Australia Athletics competition. Dont forget that we have Assembly, this Wednesday April 12th at 10am. All family members are welcome. It would be great to see people here as this is the only formal assembly this term. The new look at the front of the school is impressive. Thank you to Deidre Chapman and students for the great 3D panels adjacent to the gate. Our condolences to Tony, Julie and the Custance family on the recent passing of Skins father. I take this opportunity to thank all families for your support throughout this very busy first term. I hope you have a Happy Easter and a safe and relaxing holiday. Enjoy the week. Cynthia

Dolphin, Lily and Lola Tonkin for their wonderful efforts at the Bus Tour last Friday. Also to Teresa for the very tasty cake, and to the kindy kids for helping Teresa make the fruit salad, coleslaw and burgers. The visitors loved our Centre and were very impressed with the time they spent there. Our next one is on Saturday 26th May.

This week is the last week of Term 1 and we begin again on Tuesday May 2nd.

This week is Tuesday and Thursday. I am away, getting ready for Jay and Ellas wedding and thankyou to Julie Rom who will be covering me.

Last week we introduced STEM activities to the children. After reading the book Billy Goats Gruff, we supplied many different materials and asked the children to design their own bridge. This was a wonderful learning experience and one they enjoyed. This will be a big focus in the future.

This week we are doing many Easter activities, and getting ready for the holidays.

We finish at 1.30pm on Thursday Have a fantastic week, safe Easter and wonderful holidays
