2016 Construction

• At the end of May, a large watermain at Weston Road and Keelesdale Drive will be relocated. This work is estimated to last approximately 40 working days.

Pedestrian Access

• Beginning in early July, the westbound centre lane from Weston Road to Keelesdale Drive will be closed while a crew relocates a watermain.

• From mid-July to August, the westbound curb lane, from Weston Road to Keelesdale Drive, will be closed for demolition of the retaining wall on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West.

• The sidewalk on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, between Weston Road and Keelesdale Drive, will be closed as of mid-August 2016 until May 2019.

Since fall 2015, crews have been preparing Eglinton Avenue West for construction of Mount Dennis Station, including the demolition of the Photography Drive bridge in February 2016.

• Phase 2 of the abatement process to remove hazardous materials (ie. asbestos and lead painted materials) at 3500 Eglinton Avenue West will begin in mid-May.

• This work is estimated to last approximately four months.
