A huge thank you goes to all of the Champlain dining staff who made this event possible, especially chef Sandi Earle. The Birchwood DREAM program was awarded a $125 alumni grant from the DREAM Alumni Organization to support this year’s beautification where mentors and kids will paint the community center, install shelves, and put up pictures. Mentors and youth are looking forward to a lot of upcoming events for the program including the teen retreat, Birchwood beautification, alumni welcoming, and culminating. Champlain College staff competed against a team of DREAM mentors and youth during the annual DREAM kickball tournament, which raises awareness and money for Birchwood DREAM. Mentor pairs explored Champlain College during one-on-one time.
