The conjuring

Page 2: The conjuring

This is a key shot because it is describing why and how someone can get possessed, it is giving the audience (people watching) an incite and teaching them about possession.

This is an inspiration because it is almost telling the audience what they are after, what they know and what will come on soon. It is feeding the audience information, teaching them the stages of possession so when the movie starts the audience will keep an eye out on the 3 different stages.

Page 3: The conjuring

This is a key shot in the beginning because it is giving the audience real life pictures of the family that this had happened to. This makes the audience even more tense because it is based on a true story. The photograph it self looks scary because of the colour, background with the daunting trees and the house.

This scene is inspiring because the director is trying to get the audience tense and scared yet wanting to watch till the end to see what happens or what happened to the family in the photgraph.

Page 4: The conjuring

This scene builds the tension even more, as the mother is playing hide an seek, she starts noticing that things are not right from this point on. The music becomes more scary and daunting, the room looks creepy, the director almost makes the viewer feel that they are there in the room with the woman. The angle of the camera is mainly focusing on the wardrobe as that is where the sound is coming from. This scene is inspiring

because it gives good angles and the music in the movie makes the scene even more tense. In a horror movie, music and slow scenes are key.

Page 5: The conjuring

This is a key scene because as the mother is looking for her daughter she hears the claps coming from her basement, she goes down and calls her daughter, however, as the music loudens and gets faster, the audience expect something else, the scene is dark, nothing can be seen, camera is focused on the lady and her facial expressions, but when the hand appears from behind her the music gets intense and this scene makes the audience jump as they do not expect it.

This scene inspires me because in horror movies you are aiming to make your audience jump and get scared, this scene is good because they have chosen the right music and the right lighting, the right camera angle because they want us to only focus on her and area. The basement. Somewhere no one would dare to go at night.

Page 6: The conjuring

This is a key scene because when the investigators comeTo see what is happening they come across many things, which brings us to this scene, where the lady is twisting the toy and looking in the mirror, as the music gets faster the audience start hiding behind their hands. The camera angles used in this scene are from front and behind her shoulder

This scene inspires me because it
