We have received additional thank yous
from:
There isn't much of anything that is normal this year. And, school is no exception. Will the kids go to class, learn from
home, or some of both? And even this changes almost daily. But what hasn't changed, no matter where the kids are at, is
they need of school supplies!
This year we will support the children at Coronado K-8 School in Catalina as well as high school children of refugee
families. They are being supported by Lutheran Social Services Southwest, in Tucson, including the Kerimi family
sponsored by RLC. The children receiving supplies are K-12.
You may donate in two ways. First, if you are able to shop for school supplies, please drop them off at the church office during the week, or at the new outdoor services on Sunday
morning. You can also make a monetary donation. Please be sure to put "School Supply Drive" on the memo line of your
check. Volunteers will organize the donations and see that they are divided appropriately and delivered to Coronado
and LSS.
We will collect donations through August 31, 2020.
Here is a list of school supplies that are needed:
Post-It notes (various sizes), disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, bar soap, colored pencils, 3 ring binders - 1 inch, erasers - regular and pencil top, spiral notebooks - college
ruled, 12" rulers, scissors - blunt and sharp point, composition books, calculators, Crayons. glue sticks,
protractors, folders - 4 or 5 pocket, yellow highlighters, binder dividers - 5 subject, pencil sharpeners with cap,
colored file folders, Index cards - small and large, loose leaf wide ruled notebook paper, backpacks, Crayola washable
markers, and pocket dictionaries.
Many thanks in advance for everyone's generous contributions to support the kids in our community.

Life Line Screening, a leading provider of community-based preventive health screen-ings, will offer their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings at Resurrection

Register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vascular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149 ($139 with our member discount). All five screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete.
