The rollout of lines and sites
• GSM-R portal guides the rollout of lines and sites by tracking milestones from planning phase to operation phase• Master data is organized in catalogs e.g. catalogs for antennas, BTS, BSC or powers systems• Documents and companies can be linked to the GSM-R objects• File directories are linked to sites, tunnel and rollout routes• Actual data from radio commander and OMC can be viewed
Management reports
Special tailored reports are providing an overview about the current rollout within phases and sub phases.
General reporting and exports
Various reports and data exports (Excel, XML) are providing information to platform members and third parties.
Document management and workflow
A DMS ensures qualitative and quantitative documentation when sites are taken into operation.
The NIS interface (incl. message and alarm handler)
At some countries permissions for the construction of mobile radio facilities will not be granted without the operation of a quality assurance system for the NIS (non ionizing radiation) management. The operating company is responsible for observing NIS limits. If limits are exceeded, the fault must be rectified within time.Performance values from the operating data of all base stations and the associated permission data must be transmitted periodically to authorities.

ERMTS Information SystemERMTS (GSM-R and ETCS Asset Management)
DataValue was tasked in 2000 by SBB AG (Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen) with the construction and technical operation of the information system «Mobi Rail Data (DV-MRD)». The information system serves as planning and information service. Relevant data for the construction and operation of GSM-R sites is man-aged by the system.
GSM-R (GSM-Railway) has been conceptualised for covering railway-specific communication requirements. In addition GSM-R will provide a communication platform for future information services – initially for railway personnel and later for commuter information as well.
Since 2009 DataValue is developing in addition the system DV-TCD (Train Control Data) for the train supervising department of SBB AG. DV-TCD allows the man-agement of the train control inventory and serves as an exchange platform for all data between the SBB AG and their industry partners. The system consists of inventory and planning components to modernise train control systems as well as controling the lifecycle of train control system components.
A design tool is added in 2011 for planning train signalling systems on the base of P44 national parameters as well as ETCS L1 LS and ETCS L2 parameters.
