LG’s announcements and press releases havebeen somewhat confusing and difficult to follow.

LG GW620 "Etna" (formerly "Eve/Slider") wasfirst announced on 9/14/2009 as the first Androidphone from LG. It has a slideout physicalkeyboard, 3” screen, 5 Megapixel camera, and Android 1.5 (Cupcake) .

LG GW880 “Amundsen” was announced on11/25/2009 as the 2nd Android phone from LG.Touchscreen keyboard only, 3.5” (800 x 480pixels), 5 Megapixel camera, and built- in CMMB(China Multi Media Broadcasting) TV tuner.

LG GT540 “Swift ” is supposed to be their 3rd Android phone but LG is calling this their 2ndphone, somehow ignoring their GW880, perhapsbecause the GW880 is being marketedexclusively to China. The GT540 is a mid-end Android phone with only 400 x 240 pixel 3”screen, but its 3 Megapixel camera comes withface tracking feature, and no physical keyboard.
