    Chapter 2: Partsand Organs

Did you know that blood isn't really red! The

red-blood cells make it look red. A little more than half of

your blood is a yellowish liquid called plasma. The other

parts are floating red-blood cells. Red blood cells are the

cells that take the needs of the cells to each cells. White

blood cells are the cells that protect your blood. There is

one white blood cell in every eight red blood cells.

    Working the heart-

    Your heart is a

    muscle located in

    the left of your

    chest, it pumpsblood through your

    body.

    The heartbeat-

    Before each heart

    beat your heart fills

    with blood, after

    each pump the red

    blood cells race to

    your cells.

Chapter 4: Keep the Circulatory System Healthy

These are four tips for keeping the circulatory system healthy

    1. You need to exercise You need to be active and do sports for at least

30 minutes a day. For example, you can jump rope, dance, or play

soccer. When you exercise your heart produces more red-blood cells

than ever so it can give you more oxygen.

Sickle cell anemia is an inherited blood disorder that affects mostly

people in Africa. Sickle cell Anemia affects hemoglobin, the protein

found in red-blood cells. They help oxygen through your body. Bone

    Chapter 6:Conclusion

    I really liked

    researching about the

circulatory system. I think it is

    the best system because it

    controls all your blood and

makes your cells stay healthy. My favorite part about this

    system was thinking about the

    great path that the circulatory

    system. The blood is amazing

    because it carries many things.

    Its impressive to have

    miniature things carrying all

    the things your cells need.

    Definitely with no blood you

    wouldn't live.
