1. ASSEMBLE THE PIPE HOLDERS & TEE BRACKET

Prior to installation, unpack the floor riser support assembly and inspect it for damage. If the product is damaged, please contact Kallista immediately at the phone number listed at the bottom of the page.Shut off the main water supply.Observe all local plumbing and building codes.The installation of the riser support assembly should coincide with the installation of the floor risers.To prevent damaging the tub, the floor riser support assembly should be mounted a minimum of 12” from the floor.Kallista reserves the right to make revisions in the design of plumbing products without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

Tee Bracket Thread the pipe holders onto the tee bracket.Use the hex wrench to back the set screws out slightly, so that the floor risers (not provided) can be inserted without scratching them.

2. ATTACH THE PIPE HOLDERS TO THE FLOOR RISERS

3. CUT THE CONNECTING ROD TO SIZE

Carefully slide the straight end of the floor riser through the pipe holder and the flange.Thread the floor riser into the supply rough-in and tighten it with a strap wrench.Adjust the flange so that it rests on the floor. Tighten the set screw.Repeat for the second floor riser.Slide the pipe holders and tee bracket up the floor risers to the desired position, being careful not to scratch the floor risers.NOTE: To prevent damaging the tub, the floor riser support assembly should be mounted a minimum of 12” from the floor.Tighten the set screws.

Measure the distance from the end of the tee bracket to the tub. Add 3/4” to this distance. This is the length of the connecting rod.

Mark this distance on the connecting rod, measuring from the end with the ball toward the end with the hole.Use a hacksaw to cut off the connecting rod at the mark, being careful not to scratch the finish of the connecting rod.Remove any burrs or sharp edges.

4. COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION


Slide the mounting plate so that it is flat against the side of the bathtub, making sure the holes in the mounting plate line up with the pilot holes in the bathtub.Attach the mounting plate to the bathtub with the self tapping screws.Tighten the set screw in the tee bracket.

Connecting Rod

Rotate the tee bracket toward the floor slightly.Insert the cut end of the connecting rod into the tee bracket. Rotate the connecting rod and tee bracket back up so that the connecting rod is level.Slide the mounting plate so that it is touching the side of the bathtub.Mark the location of the holes in the mounting plate.Slide the mounting plate out of the way. Drill 1/8” dia x 5/8” deep pilot holes, being sure that they are perpendicular to the side of the tub.

WARNING: To avoid damaging the tub, do not drill the holes deeper than 5/8”.

Apply a dab of silicone to the back of the cushion and position it on the tub, centered between the three pilot holes.Adjust the connecting rod so that the cushion is pinched between the connecting rod and the bathtub.
