Serbia, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Association Sport for all Serbia
are very proud that EFCS gave their trust to host the 14th European
winter sport company games 2018 at Kopaonik. We assure you that
we will do everything to make your stay in Kopaonik beautiful and
memorable and that there will be many of you who will become fans
of this mountain beauty and after the games will be its permanent
visitors.
Of course, the beauty of friendship, is known for the positive energy
of people, either elite sportsman or recreational, so it is realistic to

For the first time in the history of the Games we will meet in Serbia.
2018 Games will, without a doubt, be a major date for all company sport
winter fans. As you know, the resort of Kapaonik was chosen on the
basis of a serious and solid bid, the commitment of the Mayor and all
the city's elected officials, of the associations and sports clubs, as well as
the business and local tourism sectors. The experience of the dynamic
Association Sport for All Serbia in hosting sport events especially their
Ski Festival are now being fully recognised. In addition, the atmosphere
of Kapaonik will enable you to have a wonderful stay in the mountains.

Kopaonik is the largest ski center in Serbia and one of the most
popular tourist destinations in this part of Europe, located at 290km
from Belgrade. Kopaonik has a unique natural value with its 200 sunny
days and 160 days under the snow annually why its also known as
a "mountain of the Sun". Due to its natural values Kopaonik was
proclaimed for the national park in 1981. The altitude of the Ski Resort
is 1770m, the highest peak on 2017m (Pancic peak). Ski center provide
excellently prepared slopes for all categories of skiers, from beginners
to highly skilled ones. Resort comprises of about 55km of runs for
alpine skiing and 12km of runs for nordic skiing including a lighted run
for skiing at night. All the runs are well connected with a system of
24 chairlifts and ski lifts, with a capacity of over 34.000 skiers per hour.
There is also new and modern snowboard park featuring 450m slope.
The artificial snowing system covers 97% of the resort which make
the skiing season last longer, and the skiers can be sure that they will
be able to enjoy the season on excellently prepared runs.
Kopaonik is ideal destination for families and it’s also very popular
among young people who are searching for great nightlife to complete
their active holiday. Kopaonik has a buzzing après ski scene that is
developing a reputation to match the excellent skiing. Options vary
from venues which cater for the crowd who want to carry on partying
late into the night - to more intimate spots in chilled out surroundings
with good food. However, there is a really great choice of authentic
restaurants with soul food and live music, café bars, clubs with dj scene
as well as restaurants with international cuisine all over the tourist
center, including ski slopes.

SKI RESORTS OF SERBIA
Kopaonik, the biggest ski center in Serbia, with it well-pre-
pared slopes provides enjoyment to all categories of
skiers, from beginners to professionals. The ski resort cov-
ers an area of about 60 km of ski slopes and routes ar-
ranged for Alpine and Nordic skiing. Night skiing enthu-
siasts can enjoy the night track in the ski resort’s center,
while a space for first ski steps is provided for beginners,
youngest skiers and snowboarders. Besides skiing, Ko-
paonik offers its visitors adrenaline fun : alpine coaster,
zip line and tubing tracks. System of ski installations at
Kopaonik consists of three six-seat, seven four-seat and
two two-seat chairlifts, nine ski lifts, two connecting ski
lifts and two carpets. In this ski center, skiing and snow-
boarding training is carried out by three ski schools with
more than 150 licensed ski instructors. Ski center Kopa-
onik offers all owners of valid ski passes free health insur-
ance.
