With the new Centerline Editor, you can reshape brush strokes on the go – even reuse the same artwork for different poses with a few small adjustments – and speed up the entire drawing process.

New video tracks and movie support

Now you can use video to make better storyboards and animatics. Import reference video and time actions and set key poses. Add opening title sequences or movies of finished scenes to video tracks in your timeline. Use video or images to trace characters and props, as the background or even as key elements in the scene.

Stamp Tool for efficient reuse of drawingsWhen you want to reuse walk or run cycles, cycle through drawings like mouth shapes or create effects that follow a pattern, the Stamp is your go-to tool. Now pressure sensitive and with new parameters to modify angle, size, spacing and more, the Stamp Tool makes it so much easier to create natural-looking patterned effects or reuse your cycles in different scenes.

3D models for 2D scenesReduce complexity and the time it takes to use 3D models for props and sets in 2D storyboards. In Storyboard Pro 6, you can import a 3D model, position it, take a snapshot and add it to a layer in your scene. Take as many snapshots as you need without ever leaving Storyboard Pro.

Multi-panel templates for sharing and collaborationShare multiple panels and scenes between different storyboards more quickly. Simply save the panels to your library as a single template, and then drag the template into a storyboard - it’s as easy as that. You can also create multi-panel templates to version a scene when you want to creatively iterate and experiment to develop the story.
