Notes home this week

1. Year 6 Farewell and Graduation 2021 Year 6 2. Book Fair Flyer All students

From the Principal’s Desk Kinder Ready Today is our last day of Kinder Ready for our 2022 Kindergarten students. This week, our new Kinders got to very briefly (with physical distancing in place) meet their 2022 Year 6 Buddies who delivered their individual Kinder Packs. We hope our new Kindergarten students have enjoyed the transition program and are excited to be starting their educational journey with us at Quirindi Public School. A massive thank you to all of the parents who have supported the program and special thanks to Mrs McGuckin, Miss Adams and Miss Taylor for their coordination of our Kinder Ready program. 2022 Classes It is that time of year where our staff are closely looking at class organisation for the 2022 school year. If you know that your family is moving or relocating in the near future, could you please contact our office to inform us so we can ensure our classes are accurate and balanced for the beginning of the year. Thank you to the parents who sent in their confidential requests, we will be taking these into consideration when we finalise classes in the coming weeks. Book Week/Book Fair Next week the Scholastic Book Fair will return to Quirindi Public School. Please keep an eye out for information regarding the organisation for this week. Unfortunately, due to current COVID restrictions, parents are unable to come on site for this event so each class will be allocated a separate browsing timeslot. Different classes/stages will then be allocated timeslots during Break 1 or Break 2 where they can purchase from the Book Fair. Please also keep an eye out regarding the Dress-Up Challenge. While we can't have a school parade, we are hoping to have an in-class challenge with a prize for the best dressed in each class. John Ireland Principal
