PICK AND CARRY CRANES AT 20 AND MAC 25

Today, these two Terex Pick and Carry cranes are

placing gas pipes alongside a road leading to a newly

built business area. Since they can travel at highway speeds,

it didnt take long to drive them from their last job to this site.

Versatility and their maneuverability earn this crane high

marks. When this job is done, theyll move to the other

end of the site to help unloading and move

steel girders.

Yesterday I was using an AT20, helping rig a crawler

crane. To me, this crane outperforms other cranes

because of its pick and carry capabilities and the ability of

its articulated steering system to maneuver in restricted

spaces. Also, the cab provides protection no matter

what the weather, especially during the summer

heat. It is great to have such comfortable

working conditions.

I also rented this MAC 25 Pick and Carry crane because I needed a machine able

to combine agility and strength with a high level of precision while moving and

placing these heavy concrete structures. The crane has been with us for

the last four days and I must say it pe rformed tirelessly.

CITY CRANES AC 40 CITY

Our AC 40 City

is a genuine versatile taxi

crane. Look: last night it workedfor several hours on Times

Square, NY, lifting and placing

the heavy electric sign of a new

store. In order to avoid trafc

jams, only one lane had to be

blocked o or the job.

I like this crane because it is so versatile.

Attachments such as the runner permit to lift and

place loads in even the tightest spaces. Its great maneuverability

and its horizontal telescoping capability make it

reliable and efcient.

I rented this Terex City

Crane because I knew that

its compactness and outstanding

telescopic capability would make it

ideal or this job. Its legal roadability

while fully equipped also represents

quite a beneft or me in terms

of spent time and money.

On this project, our AC 40 City crane is lifting

and placing an overhead crane in a factory.

The agility of the crane is a major advantage

in such a confned place.

We are at an aircraft

maintenance facility. A Terex CD 225

Cab Down crane is carefully removing

a helicopter rotor. A typical job for this

crane, because of its low height and the

ability to maneuver in restricted spaces. This

crane is extremely well suited to maintenance

applications like those found in the military.

It would also be at home as part of

a rental eet in industrial

facilities.

On our location, we consider the CD 225 as a genuine

team member. Always ready for the mission whatever

the conditions, always prompt to be on-site and always

professional. Last, but not least, its incredible agility

and compactness are invaluable when you are maneu-

vering next to machines that cost a fortune.

What I like about this crane is its ability to ope-

rate in a variety of conditions while at the sametime having exceptional maneuverability. It really

outperforms other cranes because of its low height

and the ability to maneuver in restricted spaces. And

unlike other industrial cranes it also has the

ability to operate on undeveloped sites such

as sand or mud.

TELESCOPIC CRAWLER CRANES TCC 60

This Terex TCC 60 Telecrawler is wor-

king on the assembly of a radio antenna for

the National Radio Astronomy Observatory

center in New Zealand. Its the perfect choice

for this job. The crane is easy to operate and

move in this environment, and offers a per-

fect distribution of ground bearing pres-

sures thanks to wide track pads.

When you lift, walk with and

place such a high tech load,

you need to be very confdent

with your crane. And its the case

with the TCC60. The operations

are precise and smooth. The crane

walks gently on the ground, even

on rough terrain. I can deliver an

even quicker, and more efcient

work and Im proud of that.

I needed a crane able to unload the radio antenna, walk carefully

with it on the hook to the foundation, and have it delivered as close as

possible to the main structure. With my Terex Telecrawler, I could get

the job done quicker and with less ground preparation. In act,

this crane brings me the highest possible return for

this job.

SELF ERECTING TOWER CRANES EAZY 90

Two EaZy 90 help build a crossing bridge over a highway.

They mainly lift steel girders and concrete panels. A building

project in a restricted space urban area is always a challenge,

but the versatility of the EaZy 90 makes

the difcult easy to manage.

These EaZy 90 are ideal or jobs where road compliance is essential.

Thanks to their compact transport dimensions, the access to

the site was easy. It also saved me the time and cost of

obtaining additional permits which means less

transport costs.

The erection is fast with

the semi-automatic synchronized

hydraulics, its safe and theyre ready

to work quickly. The adjustable jib and

generous under-hook height allows us to lift

virtually anything related to this project.

Minimal, if any, site preparation is required,

and their small footprint means they dont

interfere with the other machines

work. Theyre great!

With the remote control, no need to climb on the crane every day. Its really

easy and safe. It gives me full control and visibility on all operations. Im

alerted if the erection procedure is not properly completed. It is also

environment friendly, the work is quiet and clean.

These three

Terex CTT 191-10 Flat Top

Tower cranes are working at the

construction of residential buildings.

Thanks to their at top concept, they need

less height while working simultaneously, lif-

ting concrete hoppers, steel structures and

general material handling. Their jib and

tower modular system is key to adaptto specifc site conditions or

job planning.

When you spend long days in a cab concentrating on your

job, what you want is comort, perect visibility on your work,

ergonomic control levers and instant information on your

operations. I got all that with this crane, and even more! All main

motors and electrical panels are easy to reach from the cabinplatform: less efforts on maintenance, more time spent

on the job.

Next month we start building a

huge shopping center, using 5 cranes.

Thanks to my stock of tower sections, I

can adapt the height of each crane to the exactneed at each step of the construction. Not only

do these cranes offer quick and easy rigging and

maintenance, they also provide a very competitive

load diagram and an impressive hoist winch

speed. In fact, they present a very good

value.

This Terex SK 575-32

Hammerhead tower crane is

the ideal solution on this site.

The cement factory needs a big new

extension. This means lifting hundreds

of steel parts and concrete buckets al-

most nonstop for several months and

this crane is well known for combining

simplicity, performance, robustness

and reliability. The crane is part

of the factory and worksrelentlessly !

I like this crane. It is really simple to operate. The commands offer a

smooth control of all operations which allow me to place the loads

spot-on whatever the height or the weather conditions. Also,

the ergonomic, spacious cab provides a panoramic view

on my work which makes me even more effective.

Thanks to transfer masts like this

one, I can combine elements of Flat

Top, Lufng Jib and Hammerhead tower

cranes. This means that I can combine

the benefts o dierent systems and

adapt my lifting solution to the exact

demand o each job thanks to an almost

endless exibility and improved ree

standing height.

Terex Lufng jib

cranes are very common

around the world especially

in city skylines. They are able to

work in confned spaces where y

over in close areas is limited. Their

small slewing radius, their perfor-

ming winches and their strong capa-

cities make them the right choice

if you want a job perfectly

done.

Thanks to its latest technologies and the

pull line confguration the CTL 440 can perorm

fast and accurate lifts, even at this height. I have a

perect visibility on my work, so I eel confdent

in the quality o the job I deliver.

Once the job is done we have to dismantle the crane,

and the Terex CDK 100 Derrick crane is the option

we were looking for.

Working all day long at such a height, I really appreciate the

comfort and the ergonomics of the cab. Even though building the Shard

is a tough challenge, I have the feeling to operate the right tool in order to

be efcient in my daily tasks. The joysticks are precise and the monitors

provide all the necessary information.

Here we have two

cing containers and the

second placing steel for

the plants framework a

testament to the versa-

tility and strength

of this crane.

Safety and ease of

confguration are key

for me! The boom lowers 5

below horizontal and elimi-

nates rigging at height. The

VarioHook system allows me

to customize the hook block to

the load which maximizes my

lifts this makes my work

easier and saves me time

and money.

The comfort of the cabs is easy to like, but there

are other features I like as well!. The automated no-

touch counterweight installation system allows

quick rigging. Extension of the outriggers is super-

fast thanks to the powerful hydraulics and a strong

line pull gives me power to handle almost any lift

There really is a lot to like about this crane.

The Challenger 3160 is a really smart investment! When fully equipped

for lifting, it is road legal on roadways with 12 t axle load limits. It

offers the highest lifting capacity and the longest main boom of any

3 axle AT in this class. I really like that it does not require rocket

science for me to calculate the positive impact this

crane has on my bottom line.

BOOM TRUCKS CROSSOVER 6000

The hours on this job are long so

comfort in the crane cab is a real

beneft. The Crossover 6000 delivers

all the precise control and strong lift

capabilities I need. Visibility from the cab

is excellent. And transport to and from

the job is as comortable as driving

an over-the-road truck.

Were on an oilfeld in Eastern Texas Pan-

handle Area. Our Crossover 6000 is placing

steel tubing in an oil well bore, following a

fracturing procedure. It is used to suspend the

tubing placement tool over the well head as

the tubing is threaded into the well bore.

This requires both exceptional strength

and stability of the crane.

The Terex X-pattern outriggers are defnitely a great

advantage or this precision job. It gives perect stability

on these tough site conditions. On top of that the heavy and

very expensive load must be lifted at long radius and raised

over the well head with extreme precision. It will remain in

that exact position during the well purging process which

can take up to 36 hours. I must say that my Crossover 6000

is the appropriate tool or this job.

I bought this crane because it combines strength, lift

performance, stability, a comfortable operator cab, ease of

transport, quick travel rom job-site to job-site and precise

lift control. Its proven record of trouble free work

helps contribute to my bottom line.

TRUCK CRANES ROADMASTER 9000

Here is a semi-developed rugged industrial area where a

Roadmaster 9000 is placing reinforcing bars at hydroelec-

tric water diversion channel. For this job there is a requi-

rement for a long boom and smooth, precise control.

The operator and driver cabs offer me

premium comfort. The Roadmaster 9000

crane is as solid as a rock. The control

system gives me precise control of the load

and the IC-1 control system tells me all

I need to know about the lift, so I

can handle it safely..

I bought a Roadmaster 9000 because it is a very versatile crane. It can be

moved rom job to job quickly and it is equally well suited to a long term

assignment like this one. It is easily rigged or the job once on site and

can be de-rigged as easily for quick transport to another location.

It helps me keep my operating costs low, while providing

excellent lifting performance.

The Roadmaster 9000 offers the Terex X-pattern

outrigger system which provides exceptional stability. For

this job, the challenge was to fnd a crane with long reach, precise

control and stable lift performance on highly variable loads. And

using the unmatched performance of its ovaloid pinned boom,

this crane was the right solution.

ALL TERRAIN CRANES - AC 1000

Here we are on a quay of a river port. An AC 1000

All-Terrain Crane is unloading an industrial gas turbine

from the barge. Once done, the crane will drive to its next

job, a roof mounted air chiller installation.

For me the AC 1000 is my frst choice when heavy lits and road travel

are required. The crane travels with main boom attached and all additional

components can easily be transported with standard trailers.

The AC 1000 is an efcient, logical choice or complex heavy lits.

My next lift requires a lift height

o almost 100 m. We can ft the second

boom section and rig the crane quickly. The

versatility o our AC 1000 allows us to confgure

the crane to requirements o the job. Efcient

set-up keeps our services in-demand and

supports our bottom line.

The AC 1000 is amazing to operate and has earned many, job well done!

comments. Its comfortable to drive on the road, easy to maneuver on

small sites, and can be rigged safely and quickly. I have continuous

feedback on all functions and full control at

all times it is everything you want as a

professional operator!

You need a stable

footprint when youre lifting heavy

loads. This is why Terex uses its patented X-type outriggers

on All-Terrain Cranes beginning with the 500 t capacity class.

This design lowers the chassis weight and

is extremely stable.

We are in China,

in a suburb of Beijing. This Terex

Powerlift 5000 crawler crane is lifting

steel structure for a bridge in place.

This crane is ideal for the job, because

it can provide excellent lift perfor-

mance while requiring a minimum

of space.

Look at the working conditions on this site: A small access and

an uneven ground! And nevertheless, we must deliver a perect job,

in the time frame set. Thats why I chose to use my Powerlift 5000. I

know I can rely on it to have the job done in the best possible

way, even if the working environment is hard. This

makes my crane a top investment.

Ill tell you what: Im proud to operate such a crane. Why? Because

each time a job is completed, I get compliments rom my boss and

also almost always from the customer. Thanks to the comfortable

cab, I can concentrate on my job during long working days, theoperations are precise and smooth, and I have enough power to

deliver great lifts.

LATTICE BOOM TRUCK CRANES TC 2800-1

This Terex TC 2800-1 Lattice Boom Truck crane

is lifting a large power converter to be deli-

vered to a power plant by special transport.

One of the main advantages with this crane

is that, thanks to the outrigger beams on

the carrier, the crane can be positioned per-

fectly level and the ground bearing forces

can be distributed exactly to the job site re-

quirements.

What I like with this crane is its ability to combine strength and

smooth operation. It might look like a big toy for big boys, but it can

be very delicate with the heaviest loads, whatever the site. Thanks to

the precision o the controls, Im able to deliver the exact job at the

right time. And Im proud of that.

For this job,

a main challenge was to respect a

precise lift planning, while ensuring

accurate movement within the

available space. Thanks to this

cranes transportability, it

didnt take us long to be on site.

We were quickly at work, and the

rigging was done in a fairly short

time. In fact, this crane

provides a high return.

CRAWLER CRANES SUPERLIFT 3800

Here we are on a wind turbine erection

job site near Montpellier, France.

Our Superlift 3800 Crawler crane is

lifting a rotor while a tailing crane,

our Telecrawler is helping to turn

it vertical. The weight of the load

combined with winds in the area make

this a challenging lift.

For this job, the main challenge is to

complete all lifts in a minimum of time. The

Superlift 3800 is exceptionally easy to assemble

and rig. The narrow track chassis allows us to move

easily from one turbine erection to the next. All

this increases proftability, or both mysel and

the wind park. This makes quick work of

difcult jobs.

Getting enough clearance is easy with

boom combinations that allow the light

fxed jib LF to be set in the 15, 20or

30 positions. The runner is standard on

the LF and offers the possibility to lift

ancillary elements. This really increases

the cranes productivity.

The Superlift 3800 is great to operate. Its performance,

combined with a well thought out comfortable cab, helps

me concentrate on my lift regardless the number of hours.

And hours in a cab are my everyday life.We demand safety

for everything we do. So, all our

team appreciates this fall protection

system installed on each boom section.

CRAWLER CRANES CC 8800-1 TWIN

Our CC 8800-1 TWIN

is helping build an offshore platformon a rigging yard in Abu Dhabi. Here,

one leg is being put into place. Its a

very heavy, cautious lift. Thats why the

crane is operating with the TWIN boom

confguration.

The modularity of the

counterweight arrangement on its

own wagon is a smart advantage for my

proftability. The counterweight is adaptable

easily and quickly to the weight of the load.

This means saving time, saving materialand

less stress.

With only one crane,

I can adapt the capacity to the type o job. For

power plants, offshore rigs or petrochemical industry, I may

need the TWIN confguration. But or a l ot o inrastructures,

like bridges, the CC8800-1 in one-boom confguration is just

perfect. For me, its another key point of

my bottom line.

This containerized drive line with integrated operators cabin is fantastic. Its an

all-in-one concept: my cabin, bed, kitchen and engine compartment - all

in one central place and easy to transport at the lowest possible cost,

what more would you expect?

The AC 40 Optimax is a rugged, easy

to maintain all-terrain crane, perfect for

the harsh working conditions of a phosphate

mine in the Moroccan desert, where it is used

for daily maintenance of the conveyors,

among other tasks.

The Toplift 55 is a state-of-the-art truck crane. It is
