LWT Food Science and Technology vol. 50

LWT - Food Science and Technology is an international journal that publishes innovative papers in the fieldsof food chemistry, biochemistry,microbiology, technology and nutrition. The work described should be innovative either in the approach or in the methods used. The significance of the results either for

the science community or for the food industrymust also be specified. Contributions written in English are welcomed in the form of review articles, short reviews, research papers, and research notes. Papers featuring animal trials are outside the scope of the journal and will not be considered for publication.

Journal of Cleaner Production vol. 39-41 The Journal of Cleaner Production serves as an interdisciplinary, international forum for the exchange of information and research results on the technologies,concepts and policies designed to help ensure progress towardssustainable societies. It aims to encourage industrial innovation, new and improved products, and

the implementation of new, cleaner processes, products and services. It is also designed to stimulate the development and implementation of prevention oriented governmental policies and educational programmes.

Journal of Biotechnology vol 162-163 The Journal provides a medium for the rapid publication of both full-length articles and short communications on novel and innovative aspects of biotechnology. The Journal will accept papers ranging from genetic or molecular biological positions to those covering biochemical, chemical or bioprocess engineering

aspects as well as computer application of new software concepts, provided that in each case the material is directly relevant to biotechnological systems. Papers presenting information of a multidisciplinary nature that would not be suitable for publication in a journal devoted to a single discipline, are particularly welcome.

The Journal of the European Ceramic Society publishes the results of original research and reviews relating to ceramic materials. Papers of either an experimental or theoretical character will be welcomed on a fully international basis. The emphasis is on novel generic science concerning the relationships between processing, microstructure and properties of polycrystalline ceramics consolidated at high temperature. Papers may relate to any of the conventional categories of ceramic: structural, functional, traditional or composite. The central objective is to sustain a high standard of research quality by means of appropriate reviewing procedures.

Biotechnology Advances is a review journal which considers

Chemical Engineering Journal vol. 214-216

The Chemical Engineering Journal is an international

research journal and invites contributions of original and

of new developments in chemical engineering. Papers

which describe novel theory and its application to practice

are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of

Journal of Food Composition vol. 29 The Journal of Food Composition and Analysis publishes

manuscripts on scientific aspects of data on the chemical composition of human foods, with particular emphasis on actual data on composition of foods; analytical methods; studies on the manipulation, storage, distribution and use of food composition data; and studies on the statistics, use and distribution of such data and data systems. The Journal's basis is nutrient composition, with increasing emphasis on bioactive non-nutrient and anti-nutrient components. Papers must provide sufficient description of the food samples, analytical methods, quality control procedures and statistical treatments of the data to permit the end users of the food composition data to evaluate the appropriateness of such data in their projects.

Measurement vol. 45-46

Contributions are invited on all aspects of the research, development and applications of the science and technology of measurement and instrumentation. Authors are encouraged to submit novel material which could include results of research or experimental work, may deal with practical developments related to plant or process,

discuss new developments in sensors and instrumentation, or relate to systems evaluation and modelling.

Chemical Engineering Science vol. 84-89

Chemical Engineering Science publishes papers on the fundamentals of chemical engineering, including the development of chemical engineering knowledge and process into and from other disciplines including biology, chemistry, physics, and applied mathematics. We welcome manuscripts describing original research, with significant results based on experiments and/or developments in

theory. Such results may be the outcome of studies that range from the molecular level to the plant level. Increasingly, published research addresses and impacts global issues.

Applied Clay Science vol. 72 Applied Clay Science is an international publication medium for research papers, reviews, and resource and technical notes in the field of applied clay science and technology in a broad sense.

Food Hydrocolloids Vol. 30-32 Food Hydrocolloids only publishes original and novel research that is of high scientific quality. Research areas include basic and applied aspects of the characteristics, properties, functionality and use of macromolecules in food systems. Hydrocolloids in this context include polysaccharides, modified polysaccharides and proteins acting alone, or in mixture with other food components, as

thickening agents, gelling agents, film formers or surface-active agents. Included within the scope of the journal are studies of real and model food colloids - dispersions, emulsions and foams - and the associated physicochemical stability phenomena - creaming, sedimentation, flocculation and coalescence.

The journal Energy Conversion and Management provides a forum for publishing original contributions and comprehensive technical review articles of interdisciplinary and original research on all important energy topics.

The topics considered include energy generation, utilization, conversion, storage, transmission, conservation, management and sustainability. These topics typically involve various types of energy such as mechanical, thermal, nuclear, chemical, electromagnetic, magnetic and electric. These energy types cover all known energy resources, including renewable resources (e.g., solar, bio, hydro, wind, geothermal and ocean energy), fossil fuels and nuclear resources.

Food and Chemical Toxicology vol. 51-53

Food and Chemical Toxicology (FCT) publishes original research articles, reviews, and case reports on the toxic effects,in animals or humans, of natural or synthetic chemicals occurring in the human environment with particular emphasis on food safety, chemical safety, and other areas of consumer product safety.
