Acceleration and Recovery•From a standing start the vehicle is accelerated at full throttle until maximum velocity is reached. The throttle is then released and the vehicle is allowed to coast to half velocity. Full throttle is then reapplied to measure the recovery response.

The results show that the primary and secondary respond in a coordinated manner while the ratio remains unchanged.

•Maximum Traction Effort•Drawbar force is measured while the vehicle pulls on a stationary object.

•Moving Drawbar Test•The vehicle is loaded to it’s maximum bed load capacity and tows a second vehicle while in high ratio. The second vehicle slowly applies it’s brake to increase it’s draft load to the point of a stall speed situation
