The customer company is headquartered in Norway and has operations in thirty six countries.

The case at hand was to synchronize assets models from a large number of offshore plants, provide a single portal view of all assets, to link asset properties with customers’ time series data. TCS Connected Universe Platform (TCUP) asset service on Azure was used to create asset templates for all operational units for continuous synchronization with source systems via OPC UA and OSI PI and provide API based access to TCUP asset model, enabling fine grained contextual view and access control of asset model to internal/external users and suppliers.

The customer company operates globally to provide innovative and

sustainable printer and labeler products and supplies.

The customer wanted a solution to categorize printers, have faster

monitoring capabilities and enable remote upgrades for quick

maintenance. TCUP Asset Service was used to create digital twins of

devices and label them based on installed location. This helped to

achieve zero touch remote update and upgrade of configuration data,

enabling a self service model to reduce printer management and

maintenance cost .
