• The Blueprint 3 is the 11th album released by Jay Z. it was Released in America on the 11th of September, then released in the UK three days later. It is the third and final instalment of the Blueprint album trilogy. In the Album Jay Z collaborates with some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop at the moment including Rhianna, Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Pharrell. Jay Z also collaborates with producers on the tracks including Timberland, who is one of the most regarded Hip-Hop producers at the minute working with may new and renowned artists.

PromotionThe album was leaked over the internet on August 31st 2009 to this Jay

Z stated ‘it’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album’. This is not direct promotion but this leak raised major interest in the public eye to the release of the real album.

Jay Z also appeared in Kanye West’s Glow in The Dark tour in 2008 to perform the Kanye West produced song ‘Jockin Jay Z’. Promoting the use of other artists and producers in his album.

Ten days before the release of the album he released a Rhapsody advert promoting the release, in coalition with this he released three audio streams of songs on the album

Jay then went on to perform some of his songs at the secret MySpace gig at New York's Blender theatre on the 9th of September.

He has also released the dates for his tour of North America and Canada to promote the album. Starting on October 9th at the Bryce Jordan Centre.

There has also been many television and appearances to promote the album content. Appearing on many online news sites but also on international television

There has been massive advertising on Jay Z’s MySpace page with adverts for the album posted everywhere and the background picture being the album cover. There is also a music part of the blog page playing songs from the new album. You can also buy tickets for the tour, clothing promoting the album and there is many videos on the making of his music videos.
