Discussion of the issues- Safety issues (pool, road, disease, hygiene, cyber safety)

The Decision- What topic/area would you like to focus on?

Implementation - How will you go about constructing your television program?

Justification- How effective is it?- How will you engage your audience?

+Issues

- Injuries are the leading cause of death in Australian children aged one to fourteen, accounting for nearly half of all deaths in this age group (Kidsafe, 2013)

- Must make reference to at least one statistic appropriate to your topic.

+An outline of the issue/s discussed As a group decide what some issues are pertaining to the task.

- What challenges may you come across? E.g. trouble with the use of technology or access to internet

- Message not being conveyed effectively or appropriate in your program

- Group members being absent

- Time

- Not having appropriate equipment.

There are two types of issues in this task. You may see others.

1. Academic discussion about whether or not children will understand your message e.g. differing nationalities/language, do you use words that children can relate to?

2. Issues to do with the organisation of the task, including saving the program and those issues listed above.

This is the part where you tell the audience what topic/area you have decided to focus on. E.g. Bike safety, stranger danger etc

A storyboard and script will need to be created.
