including main, branch networks with diameters 300mm to
1400mm and 6 pump stations, the expected construction cost is
about 2000 million SR.
3. Main pump station no. 2 in Al Matar site, capacity about 2
million m3/day with depth about 50m and diameter 65m, the
expected construction cost is about 1700 million SR.
4. Outfall pipe with diameter 3000mm from El Matar STP to Red
sea with length about 13 km.

& Hada cities and El mahamed district, total area about
13500 hectare, the project include water transmission pipeline
diam. 1600mm with length about 35km, main and branches

Projects samples - Water supply project for un-serviced areas of Jeddah (KSA), the
total project contracts is 33 contracts with total area is about
22,000 hectare. the project is comprised from about 3750 km
pipes with diameters ranging from 110mm to 2000 mm, tow
ground reservoirs capacity is 32,000 m3 and 55,000 m3 also P.S.
with capacity 340,000 m3/day and transmission lines diameters
1600mm and 1400mm.
- Hydraulic Design of Tabuk pipeline (KSA), the project
comprises of about 160km diam. 500mm including breakers
tanks.
- Transmission pipeline from River Nile to mine site in Sudan,
the project comprises of about 170km steel pipe diameter
500mm including booster station.
- Infrastructure design for Dahiat Semu, the scope of work is
deign water, sewer, Irrigation and storm water networks.
- Study and design of water and sewage networks for Torba and
Khorma cities.

- Detail design of infra works for Abu Qir Thermal Power
Plant: Abu Qir Thermal Power Plant 2x650 MW steam turbines
generators units. The plant is located at the East of the existing

Abu Qir Power Plant on the Mediterranean coast 20 km of
Alexandria. The works include design of water, wastewater and
storm drainage networks.
- Hydraulic study and detail design of water networks for
Mashtool Elsouk, Sharqia: Mashtool El Souk is one of the
biggest cities in the Sharkia governorate, the project is to study,
prepare the detail design and tender documents for the water
supply system including tanks, transmission lines, pump
stations and main network to serve towns and main villages. The
project components are more than 40 km of pipelines diameters
between 200mm and 800mm and 3 tanks with volume 2000 m3
for each.
- Hydraulic study for Elobour Water Networks, Cairo
- Infrastructure Master Plan for Soba, Soba Real Estate
Development Co, Sudan: Detailed design and preparation of
tender documents for SOBA Golf Course, Sudan, The project is
situated south of Khartoum and divided into two main phases;
Phase-1 (133 acres) including a 9-hole Golf Course (out of
scope) and Residential enclaves of villas and apartment
buildings. And the second phase (151 acres) of the residential
community which is planned to include another 9-hole Golf
Course (out of scope).
- AlShabab Power Plant: Detail Design and workshop drawing
for underground utilities for Elshabab power plant (Ismailia-
Egypt), capacity of 1000 MW (8 Gas Turbine Units*125 MW
for each) Simple Cycle Gas Turbine . The utilities is include
water, wastewater, storm drainage, services water and
desalination water in addition to coordinate with other utilities
such as high voltage cables, medium voltage cables and gas
pipes.

GTC189/2007 – Kaharmaa – State of Qatar
Working as a project manager of the project GTC 189/2007. My
responsibility is overall management and coordination of the
project activities include design review and construction supervision,
the total budget of the project is about 2 billion QR.
The project comprises of three packages as follow:-
- GTC 158/2007 - Name of Contractor is HBK - the
project comprises of major D.I. water pipeline diameter
1600mm and length is about 80 km to supply water
from Ras Laffan power and desalination plant to
various water stations in the south of Doha (Ras laffan
pipeline C). Budget of the project is about 900 million
QR.

- GTC 177/2007 - Name of contractor is QBC - the
project comprises of replacement, extension and
construction of new rising main D.I. water diameters
ranging between 400mm to 1200 mm by total length is
about 70 km. Also construction of two ground reservoir
volume 9 and 6 MIG (40,000 and 27,000 m3). Budget
of the package is about 500 million QR.
- GTC 182/2007 - Name of contractor is SinoHydro - the
project comprises of a group of various constructions
works involving replacement and extension of D.I.
water pipelines diameters 900mm and 600mm length is
about 14 km also construction 6 ground reservoir
volumes 6 MIG (27,000 m3) in addition to one pump
satation in Al Khour area. Budget of the package is
about 600 million QR.
- Master Plan of Water system for Greater Cairo That’s large project to prepare the master plan of water projects for
Cairo, Giza cities, new cities and Giza Villages, The project
comprises four stages as follow:
Stage (1): Preparation of the Primary Report for the existing
facilities including 16 major surface water treatment plants
of average production 6.87 million m3/day, 21 compact
units and 589 water wells of average production 534,000
m3/day, 100 major pump stations, 119 water reservoirs and
elevated tanks, 40 water networks zones, 19,000km pipe
lines networks of diameter 200mm to 1600mm
Stage (2): Preparation of Final Report based on the social,
population, development and water demand studies, hydraulic
studies for water distribution system, prepare the alternative for the
proposed project to improve the services every 5 years and
identification of the high priority projects which will be
implemented in the first 5 years plan.
Stage (3): High Priority Projects
Stage (4): Preparation of Master Plan (2007-2037):
recommendation of the best viable alternative and proposing the
annual project construction and its cost.

Preparation of Qaliobia Water Master Plan. The project comprises

City
Design the water, irrigation and sewage systems for Cairo Festival City,
the area of project is 700 feddan and it is consider is a big tourist project,
the project funded by El Futtaim company.
- Sewage Net Works at Jeddah City (Saudi Arabia)
The project objective was to design and prepare the tender document for
the sewage networks for Jeddah city.
- Water Treatment Plant and Transmission Pipe line for
Telmsan City (Algeria)
Design the Transmission pipe line 800mm diam, length 30km and three
pump station capacity 65,000 m3/day and head 250 m.
At the construction phase, I am hydraulic technical support engineer for
the contractor, my responsibility was assisted the contractor to solve the
site problems, prepare the shop drawing of hydraulic works and prepare
as build drawing.
- Water Supply and Sanitation in Eight Towns (Uganda)
The project objective was to carry out the feasibility study and
preliminary design for provision of water supply and sanitation facilities
for the eight towns in north east of the republic of Uganda.
- Sewage Networks at El Taef City (Saudi Arabia)
The project objective was to serve 19000 ha. With resident population
of 2.7 million capita with water and sewage networks up to the year
2040.
- Potable, Industrial and Irrigation water networks
for Jeddah Industrial City (Saudi Arabia)
The project objective was to serve 325 ha. With the Potable, Industrial
and Irrigation water using the treated water for Industrial and Irrigation
