    Abstrak :Rele differensial bekerja berdasarkan prinsip keseimbangan arus dimana rele differensial akanmembandingkan arus-arus sekunder transformator arus yang ada pada terminal-terminal peralatan

    listrik yang diamankan. Dalam sistem tenaga listrik rele differensial banyak digunakan pada peralatan tenaga listrik seperti transformator, generator, saluran transmisi, kapasitor, reactor, dan bus bar. Rele differensial ini memiliki sifat yang selektif dimana rele tersebut hanya akan bekerjasaat terjadi gangguan internal dan tidak akan bekerja jika gangguan eksternal. Pada seminar iniakan dilakukan analisis mengenai kinerja dari rele differensial ketika terjadi gangguan internalmaupun eksternal dan juga cara menentukan rasio transformator arus yang digunakan. Analisisdilakukan melalui simulasi gangguan hubung singkat dengan menggunakan ETAP 7.0.0. Darihasil simulasi ini diperoleh bahwa rele differensial hanya akan bekerja saat gangguan berada diwilayah yang dilindunginya.Abstrak (english):

    Differential relay works based on the principle of current balance between the two secondarycurrents of the current transformers. Differential relay widely used as a protecting device of electrical power equipment such as transformers, generators, transmission lines, capacitors,reactor, and bus bar. This relay will only work if there is an internal fault and will not work if thefault is an external fault.This seminar will provide analysis about the perf ormance of thedifferential relay when there areinternal and external faults. This seminar will also provide theway to determine the ratio of current transformer to be used on differential relay. The analysis isdone through the short circuit simulation using ETAP 7.0.0.
