Support for Decision Making Workshops The Public Guardian offers free tailored workshops for disability and aged care service staff to promote the human rights of people with disabilities.
Workshops are run over one full day and are suitable for front line staff and management.
You will learn how to:
• Build the ability of people to make their own decisions
• Apply effective steps for providing support for decision making
• Debate dilemmas and tensions, as well as strategies to address these
• Discuss upcoming law reform in the Guardianship sector
The training will be considered in the context of the NDIS and the Aged Care Standards
Free In-House Organisational training will be considered upon request.
