• We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone!

• Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along.

• Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led.

• Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions

We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad you are here today!

Reaching out to a family in need...If you have any plans to update any of your house or furniture in the next few months, we have a family that could use your help.  You may recall one of our members, Bey Bolze, recently lost her great-granddaughter in a tragic car accident this last February.  The family is still recovering, but since then, Bey's daughter, Teri Skinner, has lost her home to "re.  She has nothing left and insurance did not cover the items in the home.  They have begun to rebuild, but Teri is in need of all household items from furniture to kitchen ware. A neighbor has offered two couches and a place to store the items.  Contact Gaynelle Stamm at 623-505-0569 for donation information.

Chaparral Basics ClassNew to Chaparral? Come "nd out what we are all about. We are offering a two-week class from 5 - 6 p.m., May 22nd & 29th. This will be an opportunity for you to get to know our ministers and ask any question you may have. The classes will be followed by a Connections Dinner on Friday, June 3rd, from 6-8 p.m. If interested, please call Adrienne Armes at the Church office (480.991.9878) or email her ([email protected]).

The Chain Gang needs yarn.  Chaparral's Chain Gang knitting/crocheting group meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 10 a.m. - noon in the Forum.  This group crochets or knits 10" squares to be sewn together to make blankets for shelters, orphanages, schools.  If you know how to knit or crochet or would like

to learn, you are welcome to join.  Lessons available.  Bring any yarn (no wool, please) to the narthex Sunday 5/22 and 5/29.  There will be a basket for your donations.  Donations of 10" squares also appreciated.  For more information, contact Moira Winter at 602-992-6934.
