Arrival
The currently best arrival is with Emirates to Dubai and continue with FlyDubai to Port Sudan. The fare on Emirates (30 kg free baggage) – incl. taxes and fees, flight from Dubai to Port Sudan (20 kg baggage allo-wance) (10 kg additional cost € 15, on both courses) – is between 460 - 560 Euro.
You don‘t have to take care of your luggage, it will be checked in from Emirates directly to Port Sudan.
Diving Season
Basically, you can dive all year in Sudan, but the diving is different from time to time. Hammerhead season should be from January until April, while Manta lovers might better plan for August to November. Most other sharks have no defined season and can be observed throughout the year.
General Info
An agent, appointed by us, will provide you with the original visa already at the airport.
The trip from the airport to the boat takes approximately 20 minutes directly to SEAWOLF Dominator
After arrival on the boat there will be a boat guidance with a general briefing for all participants. In the evening, while eating, you sit together comfortably for general acquaintance. The next morning the boat starts early and after about an hour‘s drive you already reached the first dive site.
You stay the whole week on the boat and have the opportunity for around 20 dives including night dives.
On the last day (sunday) only 2 dives are offered, so that you can reduce the residual nitrogen well within 24 hours before travel-ling back home.
In the evening the SEAWOLF Dominator is going back again to the marina of Port Su-dan and you‘ll spend the night on the boat.

The next morning we‘ll visit the city and the colorful market in Port Sudan where you can go for a walk, go shopping and have lunch. Then the transfer will shuttle you from the boat to the airport.
Of course, you have full catering on the boat.
Water and air temperatures
From June to September the peak values are between 31 to 33 degrees from Decem-ber to March you can find the coolest water between 24 to 27 ° C.
There is much less wind in the sudanese Red Sea than in the north and so the surface conditions are quieter than in Egypt.
Travel time
The best time for a liveaboard trip is the pe-riod in late February to early June, the ther-mocline is at about 25 - 30 meters deep and the wind is less strong. From mid-June to mid-September it‘s very hot and the desert winds also provide a lot of sand in the air.
From late September to November in gene-ral it is less windy and with a little luck the thermocline is above. In northern Sudan at Masharifa there is Manta season in October and November, there is plenty of plankton in the warm surface water.
In December and especially in January, the air and the water is colder and there are usually many waves.

Important note
• After booking please send us directly a passport copy in adequate size (< 1 MB)
• Send us – if possible – directly the flight dates
• We will send you a copy of the visa on time before the safari
• This copy has to be controlled by you – you need it already for the check-in in your home country and you have to carry it along the trip.
• With the original visa we are waiting for you IN FRONT OF the passport control.
• The entry papers – handed out in the pla-ne of FlyDubai – do NOT need to be filled out. We‘ll prepare everything.
• Your passport will be in our office during the safari, to do the passport registration.
• In the evening before departure we will deliver the passports to SEAWOLF Dominator
• On board only cash payment is possible – in Sudan no ATMs or credit cards are working! Please consider when planning your trip.
• Own diving equipment is required.
There is no rental equipment, only replace-ment equipment on board.

• Nitrox 5 € per dive, € 70 for the week package (If the Nitrox Compressor is not available, because of technical problems, there is no refund).

The visa has to be paid in USD, the passport has to be valid until 6 months after depar-ture date and must include 3 blank pages.
The Euro and dollar notes must be in good condition.
