Through a combination of student friendly content and innovative marketing techniques the event attracted over 7,000 deal hungry students for an evening of shopping excess. The UK’s Number 1 Student Shopping Event

£165,000 in revenue for the stores of St David’s Centre, representing a return on investment of over 40:1. The St David’s Lock-in was recognised for the success that it brought to the centre, with Retail Week recently highlighting it as one of “the best in-store events.” The event also received a Purple Apple Merit for driving sales.

Total Students are able to offer a limited number of companies a unique opportunity to promote their brand to thousands of students during our Student Lock In Events in 2012. After the success of our 2011 campaign, we expect to operate in excess of 30 events in various cities across the UK in 2012.

The promotional stand space presents companies with a fantastic opportunity to increase their student brand awareness, collect student data, and increase their customer base. Popular campaigns include competitions, giveaways, and "show and tell" flyer/voucher distribution. The most interactive and generous promotions are always the most popular with the students!

Case Study: Vitamin Water

Companies who have already benefitted from involvement within the Student Lock In events include Vitamin Water, BSM, Relentless, Capital FM and many more!

Spaces are extremely limited this year due to a decrease in the space offered by the shopping centres with as little as 5 spaces available in some of our major venues. The closest alternative to the Student Lock In events are the Student Union Fresher's Fairs where companies will often pay over £1,500 to stand behind a small table and hand out flyers. Previous campaigns at our events have included the Relentless promotional truck inside the shopping centre, the Vitamin Water Olympic torches tent, numerous DJ's promoting through PA announcements, and photo competitions to win an iPad - there really is no limit to what you can do! So why not take up the opportunity to promote your brand in the most interactive, fun, and exciting student events in the UK - The Student Lock In.
