Page 3: StratCon2012 Delegate Handbook

The National Strategic Conference 2012 (StratCon) provides the opportunity for the members of AIESEC in the Philippines to plan and define their direction and strategies for the incoming term 2012-2013. Delegates will have the chance to engage and participate in intense planning and learning sessions. The conference is also engineered to facilitate the transition of roles from the incumbent to the newly elected executive board members from the local and the national committee.

StratCon 2012 will also serve as the venue for the generation of new ideas, legislation for changes in the organization’s compendium, and the making of quality measures for AIESEC’s programs.

Greeka

SummerThe National Strategic Conference revolves around the theme of a fun and glorious Greek Summer. Making use of iconic Greek figures, shapes and textures, StratCon 2012 takes you into an inception of modern and ancient Greece.

Pagodas, laurel wreaths, shields and spears -- StratCon places you into the amphitheater, wherein the use of your intellect, strength, creativity and agility is required. Cyprus trees, coastlines and wide plains thus symbolize your triumphs, successes, and sweet rewards that come with these. StratCon simulates the intellectual and competitive atmosphere of Acient Greece but imbibes the tranquil summery feel of the tourist destination that it is now.

From our childhood days, Go the distance has been the lifelong lesson left behind by

Disney’s most beloved Greek hero, Hercules.

Similarly, let the chosen heroes from

NatCon 2012 take us to the distance!

From what started as a quaint shop on October 3, 2010 along Magiting St., UP Teacher’s Village in Diliman, Quezon City, it became a big hit among the student and young professional crowd in the area. As long lines formed and word spread like wildfire about this affordable and delicious beverage alternative, Moonleaf expanded to a bigger space along the famed foodie street of Maginhawa in the same village, to accomodate its now varied clientele. Today, Moonleaf has branches in the main metropolitan centres north of Manila, in the nearby provinces and soon in metropolitan centres of the south.
