On behalf of Fr. Pfeifer, the deacons and staff, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We want to acknowledge everyone who worked hard to make our

Christmas Liturgies so beautiful ...To our choir s, vocalists, musi-cians, lectors, altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers, sacristans, gift bearers, greeters and ushers. Thank you for helping us celebrate our Lord’s birth. Thank you for your dedication and faithfulness to our parish. To those who helped decorate, and made our church so much more beautiful. Mass Explained – Have you ever wondered why we do what we do at Mass? Fr. Pfeifer and the 3rd grade class would like to invite you to a Mass explained on Sat. Jan. 4th at 9 AM. This Mass explained will go through the step by step process of why the liturgy is laid out the way it is. Please join us as we dive more deeply into the liturgy.

St. Philip Neri would like to welcome these new families who have registered and became a part of our parish family this past year. Please help them feel welcome in their new home at St. Philip Neri.

BLESSED CHALK FOR EPIPHANY HOME BLESSING Sunday, January 5, is the Epiphany of the Lord. It is traditionally the day our doorways to our homes are blessed with chalk. In the January 5th bulletin, we will have the Home Blessing. Blessed chalk will be provided at church to bless your home. Be sure to pick up a copy of the bulletin or read it online for the blessing. It is cus-tomary to use the blessed chalk to mark over the doorway with the year and initials of the Magi (Casper, Melchior and Balthasar). Cross-es then separate the numbers and initials. (ex. 20+C+M+B+20).

1st Communion Retreat for 3rd grade students & parents will be on Sat. Jan. 4th from 9 AM to noon.

From our staff to you and your loved ones! We wish you a Happy, Healthy, Blessed,

& Prosperous New Year 2020

From the St. Philip Neri Staff - We offer our thanks to all who as-sist at our Masses throughout the year. We thank those who provide music and sing to praise our God. We thank the Extraordinary Minis-ters of Holy Communion, those who read at Mass, those who wel-come us at the doors, and those who assist with the collections and offertory, and those who assist at the altar as our altar servers. We also would like to thank those who work behind the scenes to help tidy up our church each week, those that assist us in the office, the volunteers, and the women of our altar society who work on the altar linens to keep them clean and presentable.
