HOLIDAY FESTIVAL The Ladies of St. Henry are accepting donations for the St. Henry Holiday House. You can contact Nita Davis at 602 390-7682 for more information. There are also vendor applications at the back of the church, for those who are interested in a booth.

St. Henry is hosting the Buckeye Women's Fellowship Meeting October 12

th.

The Meeting will start at 11am with registration in the hall. You are asked to bring a salad or dessert for the luncheon. There will also be a guest speaker.

Yes, I said “CHOOSE” . . . . and we are not talking the likes of Hitler & Stalin; we’re talking average people not unlike you or me. What about the question: “How could I enjoy heaven knowing some-one I love is in hell?” . . . well, this play addresses that issue too! There is so much excellent food-for-thought that can be derived from this performance. If I could buy everyone a ticket, I would. But then again, if I could push every one of you into heaven, I suppose I’d do that too. But there are things that one simply cannot do how-ever much one would like. ~ Fr. Kosco

The Knights of Columbus and the Ladies of St. Henry Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament is this Friday, September 24, 2021.

Regresando a la Iglesia

Pregunta: He estado alejado de la Iglesia durante algunos años y realmente quiero volver a estar activo, no tanto por mí, sino por mis hijos. ¿Es esta una mala razón para volver a la Iglesia?

Respuesta: Si va de camino al supermercado y se ve obligado a desviarse de su ruta habitual debido a obras en la carretera, ¿la comida que compra tiene un sabor diferente? ¿La comida te llena menos? ¿Son las verduras menos sabrosas? Por supuesto que no. En nuestro camino de fe, hay muchos desvíos llamados pecado. Algunos son más grandes que otros, algunos incluso son un poco más largos. Pero la gracia de Dios nos llega de maneras que entendemos, reconocemos y necesitamos. Que sus hijos lo lleven de regreso a la Iglesia no es tan importante como el hecho de que haya regresado. Esta es una oportunidad para que usted renueve, fortalezca y profundice su fe. Independientemente de cómo lleguemos a la Iglesia o de lo que nos acerque a Dios, el hecho es que estamos allí. Haga lo que tenga que hacer para estar bien con Dios y la Iglesia. Vaya a la confesión, comience buenas prácticas religiosas familiares y participe en los ministerios que ofrece su parroquia. Sea más que un feligrés tibio. Sea el tipo de católico que quiere que sean sus hijos.
