MASTER OF ARTS IN COLLEGE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT (MACSD)Help college students achieve their potential. Learn to guide college students among the multiple facets of higher education — gaining career flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including student life, residence life, advising and more, across the U.S. and abroad. This program is also a stepping stone for a doctoral degree, the terminal degree and requirement for many administrative, executive and faculty positions.

• Explore topics that cover the full spectrum of college student development — including administration, program planning and assessment, organizational behavior, human development, and legal and ethical issues in higher education.

• Prepare to mentor college students and college-bound populations, helping them grow personally, professionally and academically.

• Gain vital skills in advising, conflict resolution and leadership.

• Further develop and refine your skills through an internship or a research apprenticeship — at St. Edward’s or other institutions.
