BRING ON THE BUCKET BRIGADE!
The St. Alice Conference Bucket Brigade will collect donations on December 29th and 30th after masses. St. Alice has had an active St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) conference since the 1950s, serving the poor of our area by making home visits and providing SVdP store vouchers for clothes, household items, and beds. We are able to do this through the generous support of the members of St. Alice Parish.
You may also be a regular donor to the St. Alice SVdP Conference; envelopes are available in the pews. Just place your donation in the envelope and drop it in the collection basket or at the office.
Please call Danielle at 541-747-7041 for more information.
RCIA Classes Resume
January 10, 2019 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.
Winter holidays are traditionally a time of reflection. Those who have lost children to abortion are reminded of the loss, the regrets, the if-onlys. Decide now that it is time for hope and healing.
Why wait any longer to heal? Project Aurora is providing Rachel’s Vineyard retreats on Feburary 1 5-17 in Portland and March 15-17 in Medfort. The retreat is a safe and compassionate environment! Financial assistance is available. For more information, call 541-942-2861 or email [email protected].

12/23/2018 Fourth Sunday of Advent
Jesus was born during the night in the time of the year when darkness is the longest. The Savior of the world comes for the people in dark places. The real, lasting, and deep joy is that the Light shines there. Last month in November,
through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to bring the light of Jesus into the dark places of the poor, by assisting 22 adults and 33 children, providing beds, household goods, and clothing.
12/30/2018 Feast of the Holy Family
Today is the feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, and so we can celebrate that we all belong to the holy family of God which makes us brothers and sisters to each other. May the peace and joy of the New Year be yours! Please remember to support the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in the coming year so that together we can continue to bring comfort and peace to our brothers and sisters who are suffering.

Deus Caritas Est:
“God is love and in Himself He lives a mystery of personal loving communion. Creating
the human race in His own image and continually keeping it in being, God inscribed in the
humanity of man and woman the vocation, and thus the capacity and responsibility, of
love and communion. Love is therefore the fundamental and
innate vocation of every human being. “
St. John Paul II, Familiaris Consortio, 11
