La Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción es un día de precepto. La santa eucaristía será el miércoles 8 de diciembre, a las 8am en inglés y a las 7pm en español.
FLORES DE NAVIDAD
En el paquete de sobres del mes de diciembre recibieron el sobre para la donación de las flores de Navidad en memoria de sus fieles difuntos. Si no los recibieron, habrán sobres en la entrada de la iglesia. Escriban en el sobre los nombres de sus fieles difuntos por quienes ofrecen la donación para las flores. Los sobres se colocarán en el altar durante el tiempo litúrgico de Navidad.

The Solemnity the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Mother is a holy day of obligation. Masses will be celebrated this Wednesday, December 8 at 8am in English and at 7pm in Spanish.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS There is an envelope in the December monthly package for Christmas flower donations in memory of your beloved departed. If you did not receive the December envelopes, there are envelopes at the entrance of the church. Write the names of those you want remembered in the envelope with your donation. The envelopes will be placed on the altar during the liturgical season of Christmas.

Dear Parishioners,
Let us be glad, for the Lord remembered his people! We enter this season of Advent, celebrating this second week, rediscovering joy through the prophet Baruch. We invite you to read again the first reading of this Sunday, December 5.
Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. In this second week we will be considering it, and furthermore, it is an invitation to ask ourselves what is the source of our most authentic joy. And how it is that joy gives us hope that in the first week of Advent we were remembering and opening our hearts to understand it.
I share with each one my joy at reaching, God willing, my 30 years ordained. Everyone is invited to share the Eucharist with me this Tuesday December 7, at 7pm.
To celebrate these 30 years of priesthood with me, I am going to develop a fundraising campaign for two special projects that are in my heart. The money collected in this campaign will be divided equally: to collaborate with access for the disabled in the church of Saint Benedict and to strengthen the work of social justice that the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul develops in Sacred Hearts. From now on I thank you infinitely for your generous collaboration. As you know, our access for the disabled is urgent, as well as the help we offer to the less fortunate or people with financial problems due to lack of work.
On Thursday, December 9, the day of Saint Juan Diego, we will be celebrating our Mother, the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe, the Empress of America, the patroness saint of the continent, the star of evangelization. Let us participate in the Holy Rosary at 5:50pm, followed by the prayer of Vespers and then the celebration of the Eucharist. Then we will have surprises.
May the celebration of our patroness, the Immaculate Conception, help us to better prepare ourselves and live joyfully in the Lord, as she lived.

Queridos feligreses,
¡Estemos alegres, pues el Señor se acordó de su pueblo! Nos adentramos en este tiempo de adviento, celebrando la segunda semana, redescubriendo la alegría con el profeta Baruc. Les invitamos a releer la primera lectura de este domingo 05 de diciembre.
La alegría es un fruto del Espíritu Santo. Y en esta segunda semana estaremos no solamente considerándola. Ante bien, es una invitación a preguntarnos cuál es la fuente de nuestra alegría más auténtica. Y cómo ella nos sostiene la esperanza que la semana pasada estábamos recordando y esforzándonos en comprenderla.
Comparto que cada uno mi alegría por llegar, Dios mediante, a mis 30 años de ordenado. Todos están invitados a compartir conmigo la eucaristía este mares 07 de diciembre, a las 7pm.
Para celebrar conmigo estos 30 años de sacerdocio, voy a desarrollar una campaña de recolección de fondos para dos proyectos especiales que están en mi corazón. El dinero que se recoja en esa campaña se dividirá en partes iguales: para colaborar con el acceso para discapacitados en la iglesia de San Benito y para consolidar el trabajo de justicia social que desarrolla la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul en Sagrados Corazones. Desde ya te agradezco infinitamente tu generosa colaboración. Como sabes, nuestra acceso para discapacitados es urgente, así como la ayuda que ofrecemos a los menos favorecidos o personas con problemas económicos por falta de trabajo.
El jueves 09 de diciembre, día de San Juan Diego, estaremos celebrando a nuestra Madre, la Virgen María de Guadalupe, la Emperatriz de América, la patrona del continente, la estrella de la evangelización. Participemos del Santo Rosario a las 5:50pm, seguido del rezo de las vísperas y luego la celebración de la eucaristía. Luego, tendremos sorpresas.
Que la celebración a nuestra patrona, la Inmaculada Concepción, nos ayude a prepararnos mejor y vivir alegres en el Señor, como ella vivió.
