RECURRING EVENT SPONSORSHIPS

BA5 is our fun social networking event that occurs the last Tuesday from 5-7pm. This event highlights member businesses that host the BA5. BA5 offers an oppor-tunity to create new business relationships by networking in a relaxed setting that offers delicious appetizers, door prizes and refreshments. Hosting a BA5 costs $150 for the hosting business and providing food and beverage for attendees. This event is free and open to all and averages 70 people in attendance. If you’d

EDGER is our Economic Development, Government and Education Round-table. Here you’ll find some of the top level public sector leaders like Senator Mark Miller, State Representative Robb Kahl, Monona Mayor Bob Miller, Dane County Board of Supervisors member Robin Schmidt, Monona Grove School

District Superintendent Dan Olson and Monona East Side Business Alliance Executive Director Kristie Schilling at one table discussing the latest developments on a local, county and regional level. Business leaders from the pri-vate sector are always welcome to join us for this lively discussion. The event is held on the second Wednesday each quarter at 7:30-9am at the Monona Community Center, 1011 Nichols Road, Monona, WI 53716. This event is free and all MESBA members are welcome. Annual sponsorship opportunities are available for $600/year.

GMM is our quarterly breakfast series featuring a variety of top notch speak-ers and topics. It’s a fast paced morning event that will get your day off to a great start! The event is held on Wednesday mornings at 7:30-9am each quarter at a variety of locations throughout the Monona East Side com-munity. Be sure to check our event calendar for the location. Attendance averages 80 people at each event. A continental breakfast is served and

networking opportunities are plentiful. The emcee is Walter Jankowski of Reinvention LLC. Annual sponsorship opportunities are available for $700/year. Sponsors receive excellent marketing exposure and an excellent op-portunity to promote your business as an organization that is providing a valuable program for our members. This event is free and open to all members and guests.

Our quarterly Power Lunches are held at various member establishments in the area. They often focus on diversity and business and are held on a variety of days from 11:15-12:30pm. They feature a high level speaker, lunch, beverage and a dessert in addition to some excellent networking opportunities. This event varies in price from $12-20 and registration is required. To date, every one of these events has sold out in advance so don’t delay if you want to join us. Regis-

ANNUAL EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Monona East Side Business Alliance (MESBA) offers four annual events to promote networking and provide economic development opportunities for members. These include Kickstart—our annual new member orienta-tion held early in the year; EXPOtential—our annual business expo held in April; the Craft Beer, Cheese & Choc-olate Pairing held at The East Side Club in the fall; and our Annual Meeting Celebration held in early December.

Below and the following pages outlines these events and the sponsorship opportunities that exist for each.

Kickstart is our new member orientation. This program helps new mem-bers get connected and educates members on how to maximize their member investment with the Monona East Side Business Alliance. Vari-ous stations are designed to inform attendees on Alliance programs, events and committees. This event is an invite only event for new mem-bers. Approximately 75 people are invited to each Kickstart. Sponsors of this event pay $375 and serve as the co-host of the event welcoming

the new members to our organization. This event is held at JBC Coffee Roasters and runs from 8:30-10am. The 2016 date will be in February and details will be confirmed soon.

November 12, 2015 is our first Annual Meeting Celebra-tion and we’re excited to present an evening gala that highlights all of the organizations that support the Al-liance throughout the year. The event features a short presentation, introduction of our board members, new board candidates and ambassadors council. A silent auction, wine pull, food sampling stations from MESBA member restaurants, portrait artist, live music, and

ballroom dancing through Fred Astaire are all being featured in 2015. A portion of proceeds from this event are donated to our three food pantry members just in time to help stock the shelves for the holidays.

Thursday, September 29th, 5pm–8pm • The East Side ClubMESBA offers over 60 exciting networking events each year but this one is arguably the highlight of our programming. 12 sponsored pairing stations are setup around the room featuring a local craft beer, a Wisconsin artisan cheese and a locally handcrafted chocolate. This event is a structured networking event in disguise because businesses sponsor a pairing station and have two representatives from their company serving (and building a relationship) with every attendee at the event.
