Last night I was travelling thru one of the busiest streets of Mumbai. Hardly had I gone 100 yards that I
saw a traffic policeman waving me to stop. I was surprised, still I stopped and asked him politely the
reason for stopping me. He pointed to the one way entry sign at the start of the lane. I was
flabbergasted and tried to provide an excuse of the night time, low visibility & the sign board size was
also so small. Also the location of the signboard was difficult to see at the first sight. Anyways my
pleading was of no use to the traffic policemans deaf ears. He was good at only one thing and that thing
was his merciless nature. In the end, I had to pay the traffic penalty and then again return back trying to
find another road leading to my destination.
As I was going back, I reflected back on the incident and realized it was not the traffic policeman who
was at fault. Rather it was my lack of observation of the sign board. This happens to us frequently in our
lives. Why? Because of our lack of desire to observe things. It happens primarily because we never know
what to observe or look for and hence we miss these signposts in our lives which direct us towards our
real destinations.
For seeking the right answers, you will have to always ask the right questions. And questions come only
when you start observing and build logical thinking. You do not need to have a great IQ or be a genius
for asking questions. Most of them in life are very basic in nature. They are usually based on logic and
are theoretically very correct. However the answers do not come so easily as the questions depends
largely on logic but the answers can be illogical at some times as they are practical, based on reality and
are very dynamic in nature which can change drastically in different set of circumstances.
Seeking the right answers is an output of asking the right questions and asking the right questions is a
result of observation and trying to read the signposts. Now God has given to all of us tangible ways to
seek and find Him. You might say they are the road signs in our life. Each of us has one lifetime to come
to know God. If we see only what we want to see and miss all the other signs then when we finish this
life and come to our time of reckoning with God.
It is God Himself that puts the desire to know Him within us. He created us for a relationship with
Himself and is eager that we would want it. But God also made us with free will, which is the only way
love can exist. Forced love is not love. Every one of us was made with eternity inside our hearts and
therefore what is finite can never satisfy us completely. Temporal satisfactions always fade and leave us
with still more hunger.
But How Do You Seek a Relationship With Someone You Cant See?
God anticipated that question and gave us physical, tangible ways to find Him. God made us a wonderfulplayground to live out our lives. He gave us lovely natural scenery to look at, fields to run in, water to
swim in, fresh air to breathe, birds to listen to, flowers to smell and cute dogs to pet. Our five senses
experience His creation every day. All of creation points back to a flawless design created by an
ingenious God who hasnt missed a detail. It is a debate as to the finer details of what we call as GodIs
it a physical God or is it a pool of intelligent infinite energy

Man himself is the most ingenious of all Gods creatures. Doctors and scientists still marvel at the
intricacies of the flawless human body & brain while they continue to discover more. There seems to be
no end to the depth and complexity of man. He is probably the only one of all things created that is
made in Gods ownmirror image. A very personal God has made man to operate as He Himself does. We
alone of all creation have the potential to have a relationship with our Creator provided we realize that
we have a relation with him and we should seek Him. If we never read a book or hear a preacher we
would still have all we need to know about God from the things he has made. When we are born we
know instinctively about eating and breathing. Nobody has to teach us to eat & breathe.
A book is only as reliable and trustworthy as its author and this largely depends on the beliefs and
perception of the author. We have a free will and we can believe in whatever principles we believe it to
be right. Gods word read and applied is addictive. We want more and more of it because in its pages we
come to know its author and we want more and more of HIM.
We have a problem, we have a question, we need an answer and so we go to the manualGods word.
Its a book for seekers -- not for casual inquirers. For diligent seekers the Word will become food for
your soul and spirit. Youll receive the answers to your questions along with much more. It will give lightand understanding and correction. But it will also become joy to your heart.
When we are careful to follow its instructions we become like a discerning son. We start to change and
become like Gods son, which is what we become. God does not dispense pills to cure ourproblems.
As we all have got a free will, we have our internal strength to fight and solve our own problems. One
thing is very clearIf there is a lock, there is a key somewhere.
Right from the beginning, man has used his free will to operate apart from God. Man Declares His
Independence which is good but the direction has to be right. When we listen to our conscience and do
what its prompting us to do, we always take a small step towards the right direction.
No one can tell you how you are to love your wife or husband or friend or child. And so an article on
how to seek the right answers can only go so far. However it definitely will spark a thought of asking the
right questions in order to seek the right answers.
