And much like your IT network, you must ensure that you receive the most value from your investment by accessing the latest features of your ASTRO 25 system and reinforcing its security posture. CONSISTENTLY OPTIMIZE YOUR TECHNOLOGY Motorola’s Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) safeguards and enhances ASTRO 25 operations and system components through continuous, scheduled software updates. To help ensure you can access the latest system and software features and enhancements, SMA includes software updates for all components of your system including third-party, product programming software and commercial operating system patch updates. You must take into consideration future needs such as enhanced system coverage, increasing user population, interfacing with new IT systems and supporting major events – all requiring additional capacity and capability. By falling behind in software updates you may be unable to take advantage of new capabilities and become at risk of security vulnerabilities, compatibility issues and unexpected downtime, putting users and citizens at risk. MINIMIZE TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP Realize up to 80% cost savings compared to individual procurement of software updates.* The fixed, annual subscription allows you to budget for updates and mitigate unplanned, higher costs. Regular updates also ensures commercial software remains within original manufacturer support coverage in order to minimize expensive repairs and replacements.
