LANDLINE A landline is a physical connection between twotelecommunication devices. The telephone that transmits and receivessounds, most commonly the human voice. These type of phones are connected by the fibre opticcables. This type of phones are greater security for phonecalls, which is especially important for those timeswhen you are talking about sensitive information likemedical records or bank information 5. These landline phones are doesnt work properly insome cases this leads to have cross talks,disableconnections(wire) Once you leave your home, you cannot use yourlandline phones. Due to lack of mobility, the power packed mobilephonesare created to lift over these difficulties. Let us discuss about mobile phones. 6. MOBILE PHONES A mobile phone, cellular "cell" phone or hand phone isan electronic device used to make mobile telephonecalls across a wide geographic area. It keeps you in constant contact with people youconsider important. It can help you seek helpimmediately during emergency cases. Its a sense of being financially uplifted. we can carryit anywhere . 7. This mobile phone has applications like banking,blogging, commerce, gaming , instant messaging,learning, local search, location tracking, marketing ,MMS,music,news,payment,publishing,push e-mail,SMS ,telephony ,text messaging ,ticketing ,web. It establishes its generations also they are 0G,1G,2G,3G,4G,5G. It is expensive. People spend less time bonding withthere family and friends. They just contact throughphone and became too lazy meeting outside . 8. Disturb us on our works and studies .People spend lotsand lots of money buying the latest model .it affectsour body because of radiation it produces. It is easily broken. Mobile phone makes it easier toinvade privacy. Some times this mobile phones are alsonot work out in some situations. so here people need something better to maintaintheir network .this gives rise to birth of VoIP. Let us discuss about VoIP. 9. VoIP Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP) is afamily of technologies, methodologies,communication protocols, and transmissiontechniques for the delivery of voice communicationsand multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP)networks, such as the Internet. There are three types of VoIP tools that are commonlyused; IP Phones, Software VoIP and Mobile andIntegrated VoIP. 10. One of the main advantages of VoIP is the low cost. Ifyou have a fast Internet connection .you can make PC-to-PC phone calls anywhere in the world for free. Another advantage of VoIP is portability. We can makeand receive phone calls wherever there is a broadbandconnection simply by signing in to your VoIP account. There are many other features that make VoIPattractive. We can also send data such as pictures anddocuments at the same time you are talking on thephone. 11. It needs electric power. There is an limited emergencycalls are allowed. Some VoIP providers have problems with soundquality and reliability. Data sent across the Internetusually arrives at its destination in a scrambled order. Due to this reasons people change over to fully netbased applications. its leads to find applicationsoftware called Skype. Let us discuss about Skype . 12. SKYPE Skype is a software application that allows users tomake voice and video calls and chats over the Internet. Skype has also become popular for its additionalfeatures which include instant messaging, filetransfer, and videoconferencing. Skype has 663 million registered users as of 2010. 13. it is a downloadable, free software. Calls are free from Skype to Skype, and less expensivefrom Skype to phone. This not only provides the userconvenience but also saves money. The video calls and file transfers are available. Skype requires your computer to be turned on and thesoftware up and running in order to make calls. 14. Limited options exist for individuals who would like touse a typical land-line telephone with the Skypesoftware other than a corded USB phone. Skype subscribers who are having difficulty using theservice have limited options for getting in touch withSkype customer service. Call quality from Skype may suffer if you have a slower-than-average Internet connection. 15. CONCLUSION T he above points we are clearly discussed that, how asocialization networks are changed and updated fromthe landline to mobile phones to VoIP to Skype.
