What is Socialisation. The lifelong process of social interaction though which individuals acquire a self-identity and the physical, mental, and social skills needed for survival in society.23Agents of SocialisationThe persons, groups, or institutions that teach us what we need to know in order to participate in society: family, school, peers, media, religion, work, etc.24Socialisation and LeadershipSocialization has everything to do with an individuals upbringing, values, beliefs and overall worldview.Leadership skills for some are innate and inborn where socialization plays a pivotal role in the further development of these skills.Just like a child behaves what is expected in the society, the same applies to leadership. When put under pressure they will often make choices that are in everyones best interests, for the greater good

ConclusionA good leader is not necessarily determined by how much dominion and authority he exerts, but by the technique he employs in governance. He personifies rare values like honesty, justice, fairness and accountability. The socialized is exposed and has a deep understanding of what true leadership entails. More than anything, he understands that a true leader is above all, a servant.
