Cleartrip Social – Entice, Evangelize and Engage
Social Media Boom Is now a certainty and Its here to stay!
The Social Media Objective :
• Engage and evangelize social media users with Travel Information and Travel offers.
• Be present on all the possible Social Media Platforms that are popular in India
• Use Social Media as a ‘Listening Tool’ and invite 2 way interaction on the medium
Foursquare : 261 people on our Foursquare page.
Pinterest : 16 Boards and 83 Pins
Facebook : 5 Lac +Fans
In 12 Months of starting our Social Media :
Our Journey started with only 20,000 fans in our facebook page in Jan’12, which has now increased to 5,00,000 Happy Cleartrip Fans. We managed to
increase our organic interaction rate by 100% from last January till date.
So how did we achieve this?
Its not always about offers!
Daily properties were created and used throughout the year and each day of the week feed pertaining to that category was posted.

Contests: To engage our FB audience, we run regular contests to make them participate and ask them to share their unique experiences.
Campaigns - We run various campaign throughout the year to promote travel among users and highlight our great deals.

Spread love- An application to spread love among the under privileged children. We asked our fans to send in their wishes for these children and for the same we gave them a surprise gift. We received more than 100 entries for the same.
Cleartrip Channel-This takes the user to the YouTube channel from where they can view all the videos on the Cleartrip channel.
Video Stamps- Created a tab when the new TVC was launched which let the user access all the new TVCs in one place.
Customized Greetings- Customized greetings for all the major events
Types of Ads utilized
Market Place Ads & SS Ads: Objective for both the type of ads is to get ‘Likes’ for brands. Sponsored Stories amplifies branded stories to friends of fans.
Page Post Ads: Promoting a particular post mainly via video, text, photo, link, question & event. Main focus is on increasing engagement on page. We promoted our TVC at launch phase.
Deal/Offer Ads: Facebook offers provide brands an opportunity to create some exclusive offers for their Facebook fans. Fans can claim the offer directly from the ad itself
