About the workshop host:Neil Hall, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ret'd), AFNI MIACPNeil J Hall is a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police anda former Royal Navy Officer. During a career thatspanned thirty nine years, he commanded units insignificant theatres of global conflict, enforcinginternational law, leading counter terrorism operationsand co-ordinating large scale humanitarian and disasterrelief operations. As Assistant Commissioner of Police in aBritish Overseas Territory, he was responsible for thestrategic security and law enforcement management ofthe region facing significant challenges in counteringorganised criminal gangs and managing critical incidentsarising from irregular migration. Internationally recognisedas an expert in fields of maritime security, counterterrorism, CBRN, organised & serious crime and criticalincident management, he has served as an advisor toGovernment, non-statutory international organisationsand law enforcement agencies on a global basis.
