The first generation of statistical analysis has some limitations in terms of the current complexity measurement model. Recently, many researchers have increasingly been turning to second- generation techniques or referred to as Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). SEM can be viewed as a combination of factor analysis and regres- sion i.e. path analysis. Specifically, Partial Least Squares (PLS – SEM) is one of the approaches to estimate the relationships in a SEM model. PLS – SEM is primarily used to develop theories in exploratory research. Smart PLS 3.0 (www.smartpls.de) is a software with graphical user interface for variance-based Structur-al Equation Modelling using the partial least square (PLS) method. The software can be used in empiri-cal research to analyse collected data (e.g. from surveys) and test hypothesized relationships. Researcher and practitioners enjoy the success of using the PLS-SEM method’s capabilities for their projects by running our intuitive and easy-to-use software. Please visit www.smartpls.de for more info.
