Motivation/Problem StatementSmart Garage is a technological advancement that can be applied to any garage door, both commercially or residentially. The concept behind the smart garage door is a series of sensors that allow the consumer to seamlessly integrate common technology towards a household improvement. The idea is to integrate the two existing technologies of smartphones and garage doors into one system that allows for enhanced capabilities that are otherwise lost to the common user.
