2 About the Message PositionYou cannot change the factory default settings for the Message Position. When you select the New Message option, the selected settings are as shown below:
X position = 0 mm. Y position = 0 mm. Rotation = 0.You can change the message position and rotation angle for each message.
2.1 Examples of Message PositionThe laser coder prints the message in the centre of the print area. The centre of the print area is at X Position = 0 and Y Position = 0. The centre of the message prints at this position, as shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1. X Position = 0; Y Position = 0; Rotation = 0
NOTE: The example message positions shown include horizontal and vertical scales to show the position of each print. The laser coder does not print these scales.
You can change the X Position value to move the message position in the horizontal direction. Set a positive value to move the message to the right. Set a negative value to move the message to the left. Figure 2 shows the message position moved 10 mm to the right.

You can change the Y Position value to move the message position in the vertical direction. Set a positive value to move the message up. Set a negative value to move the message down. Figure 3 shows the message position moved 20 mm to the left and 10 mm down.
Figure 3. X position = 20; Y Position = 10; Rotation = 0
You can change the Rotation value to rotate the message. Set a positive value to rotate the message anticlockwise. Set a negative value to rotate the message clockwise. Figure 4 shows the message rotated 90 anticlockwise.
