RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 2021-2022 REGISTRATION ON-GOING

It’s too early for Back-to-School even though stores are sending a different message! However, it is not too early to register for Religious Education and Confirmation classes for this year which will begin in September. Forms are available on-line at the parish web site: olca.org under the “Religious Education” and “Forms” tabs, stopping-by the Parish Offices, or contacting Felicia Forger by email [email protected] or call 781-894-3481 x3. This is greatly appreciated to plan for books, supplies and teachers. Speaking of teachers, would you be interested in helping either as a teacher, substitute teacher or aide? How about “Team Teaching” so that if one person could not be there, the other could be depending on your schedules? Classes are Sunday morning in-between the parish Masses in the school building. We will observe safety protocols as determined at the time by the State and Archdiocese as we successfully observed this past year. The children enjoyed being together - a testament to the commitment of the teachers and aides to provide a safe and happy learning environment, which we will do again. Thank You and Summer Blessings!

ONLINE GIVING As we continue the summer months, we urge you to please consider signing up for Online Giving. With over a year dealing with a pandemic, our donations are down and now with heading into the summer months, they will go even lower with vacations and such. Online Giving allows consistent income for our parish, especially during these most unprecedented times.

OUTDOOR CONFESSIONS Outdoor Confessions continue on Saturday’s from

3:00-3:45pm (weather permitting).

CHURCH SCHEDULE—SUMMER HOURS Open for prayer daily from 8:00am-2:00pm. Adoration Monday through Friday from 9:00am-2:00pm. Contact Sharon in the parish office to let her know if you would be interested in volunteering an hour to sit and pray while the Eucharist is exposed on the Altar. You can email her at via email at [email protected].

HOMILIES ONLINE The homilies are posted on our parish website at www.olca.org. Go to the home page and on the right side you will see Homilies, just click on that and choose the homily you would like to hear again.

The Stained Glass Window was illuminated last week in loving memory of Julia Hoban at the request of Jerry and Joan Parker. REMEMBER OUR HOMEBOUND

If you or someone you know cannot make it to Mass due to recovery from surgery, an illness or can simply no longer attend Mass PLEASE, LET US KNOW. Call Sharon in the parish office, 781-894-3481 x2 and we will make arrangements to have communion brought to you. Please make the call, we are here for you.

SUMMER SIZZLER MEAT RAFFLE CALENDAR FUNDRAISER Grilling season is upon us and we hope you will continue to support our parish fundraisers. Please help us reach our goal of what we did last year. Thank you to those who have already sent in their tickets and payments. May God bless each of you and may you have a happy and healthy Summer.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the Church’s ritual process for calling adults to a conversion of mind and heart and preparing them for a full and active life in the Church. RCIA is primarily intended for those who are unbaptized and preparing to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and

Confirmation. We also include those who are joining the Faith, wish to learn or share more of faith or seeking Adult Confirmation. Please phone John Barry at 781-894-3481 #2 or email [email protected] and be sure to leave your contact information.
