Curb : is the edge where a raised pavement/sidewalk/footpath meets an unraised street or other roadway. Curbs guide water, into storm drains so that it doesn’t gather on road also keeps vehicles on the road .

roughly 4–6 inches.

Geotextile Fabric: permeable fabrics which when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate , filter, reinforce, protect or drain. Placed at the tension surface to strengthen the soil. Comes in three basic forms : woven, needle punched, or hear bonded; typically made from polypropylene or polyester.

Silt Fence : a temporary sediment control device used on construction sites to protect water quality in nearby streams, rivers, lakes and bays from a storm water's runoff sediment. A typical fence consists of a piece of synthetic filter fabric (also called a geotextile stretched between a series of wooden or metal fence stakes
