1. Brain TrainingSBDC training programs help students of all ages learn faster and easier. We focus directly on the cause of learning struggle—which is the underlying weak cognitive skills. Sensory IntegrationSensory integration is the neurological process that organizes sensation from one’s own body and from the environment, to help people use their bodies effectively within the environment. The interaction between your child’s personality, brain development and his or her environment can create cases of sensory integrative dysfunction. This could result in slow motor skills, poor hand-eye coordination etc.

3. Neuro FeedbackNeuro Feedback is a cutting-edge brain training technology that can develop neural network by adjusting the necessary brain waves needed for the brain’s development while watching one’s own brain wave information on a real time basis.
4. Listening TherapyListening skills is one of the most important skills to effective learning. Learning Ears™ is a specially designed listening therapy program that uses Auditory Language stimulation method. Junior ProgramsWith 3 exciting programs for juniors namely Brain Kids, Liftoff and Wiggles, SBDC aims to aid in the development of young children and prepare them for school through play and interesting activities. It entices learning through play activities by incorporating all eight sensory integration in the program – Sensory Processing, Perceptual Development, Sequential Processing, Language Development, Auditory Processing, and Cognitive Thinking.

To determine the right training program for you or your loved ones, SBDC uses a variety of nationally acclaimed cognitive abilities, achievement, and reading mastery tests in addition to proprietary screening tools developed to further enhance identification of individual skill strength and weakness. At our training centre, such broad, accurate, and definitive testing pinpoints weak underlying cognitive skills related to poor performance and serves as the foundation for individualized, effective training.
The professional testing tools we use include the Woodcock Johnson Tests of Cognitive Abilities (WJ III-COG) and the Woodcock Johnson Tests of Achievement (WJ III-ACH). The WJ III-COG is the gold standard of cognitive skills testing, and is used by psychologists and educators across the country to measure brain skills strengths and weaknesses.
The key cognitive skills assessed are memory skills, word attack skills, general processing speed and logic and reasoning abilities.
