BRIEF HISTORY :

CURRENT and TARGET MARKETS :

SIMS Group of companies which started off in the year 2000 as a nonferrous Base Metals

Marketing Company has along the way carved a niche for itself as a focused player in the supply chain Management of Copper Rod and Wire Products. Indian Sub-Continent, Middle East, and Africa markets.

Current Focus Industries as follows :

* 3-PC TIN CAN Manufacturers for the copper welding wires (1.24mm , 1.38mm and 1.50 mm )

* Copper Rods and other wire products for Electrical and Cable Industry , Power Transformer and many others.

SIMS Group of Companies is supporting its current markets majority of which are ASEAN

members and who are also having FTA agreements with Malaysia thus making it possible to do importations at a reduce costs.

Strong support is currently extended to majority companies or importers from the Indian Sub-continent, Middle East and the African markets.

SIMS is looking forward in the near future supporting countries such as Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand among many other countries.

OUR GROUP OF COMPANIES :

•SIMS MALAYSIA – established in the year 1999 doing TRADING for copper rods

and wire products

•SIMS SINGAPORE – established in the year 2000 also doing TRADING for

copper rods and wire products

• SIMS MAURITIUS – established in the year 2003 supporting SIMS Malaysia and

SIMS Singapore in managing risk and hedge book positions

• SIMS INDIA– established in the year 2005 serving as a marketing support office for

both local india and international markets

• SIMS COPPER SDN BHD – established in the year 2009 as a manufacturing

facility and started producing copper welding wires. The production is expected to commence and become fully operational by mid JULY of this year 2010 and become fully operational to produce both copper welding wires and copper rods.

• DUPLEX WIRES (2005) - is our manufacturing partner providing support in

meeting our demands for copper rods.

OUR OTHER SIDE OF BUSINESS :

• KHAAN PEENA RESTAURANT – established in the year 2002 catering

the best of NORTH INDIAN CUISINE

• KAFE CHAI RESTAURANT– established in the year 2009 located at

Cyberjaya ( a few minutes away from the KL International Airport ) is offering both coffee

and north indian cuisine foods.
