breakdown of the energy consumption expense items of a non-residential building.

System functions - Indoor

SimpleLife is a flexible, modular automation system for

controlling and monitoring buildings. Use of the powerline

technology cuts installation costs and simplifies system

construction;

Comfort levels inside the building are achieved through

centralised control of the heating and air-conditioning

system (fan coil units). The special room control unit allows

each room to be individually controlled by interfacing the

temperature and open window sensors;

Monitoring systems’ condition means preventing damage caused by run-of-the-mill failures

or malfunctions of equipment (plant rooms, burners, cold stores, etc..);

If not monitored by a supervisor, UPS units, generators and other safety devices may fail to

come into operation when needed, causing immense amounts of damage;

dispatching emails and messages to the relevant technical staff;

The SimpleLife system devices are able to regulate the lighting and heating system to

ensure cuts in the building’s main operating costs;

Common areas and offices are remote controlled to set the lighting and heating levels

The Divo 1-10v or Divo W covers the distance from the panel to the groups of lighting

devices installed in common areas or offices, cutting out unnecessary, expensive

wiring;

This means the lights are completely remote controlled with the option of setting switch

on-switch off timers and minimum and maximum lighting levels for impressive

reductions in electricity consumption;

The Divo W device is also designed for centralised control of air-conditioning and

heating lines. The control platform allows switch-on and switch-off timers to be set to

suit the time-bands of use; The Simple Life platform permits to set automatically the

temperature level according to the windows status or the programmed timers.

Security: Videosurveillance

SimpleLife, is able to deliver videosurveillance services,

transmitting the data on the existing electrical system.

The IP camera is integrated with the Umpi technology

capable of transforming the audio-video signal and

transmitting it to the videoserver along the POWERLINE.

The SimpleLife technology is also useful on existing plants,
