SIGN SPECIFICATIONS:
Metal: Aluminum: Gauge .080 mm Color: Teal RGB - 35,105,109. All lettering and logo's to be white, re�ective per MUTCD requirements.
Paint Type: Mathews Brand - poly-blend paint - Or equal per approval by Landscape Architect - All paint to be MUTCD compliant, and vandal resistant with top layer clear coat for easy maintenance.
Logos: Logos to be high performance vinyl - re�ective per MUTCD standards.
Maps: 8/10mm toughened glass or clear ‘glass-look’ acrylic panel with self adhesive vinyl print to reverse. Vinyl / print to be water and UV resistant in external environment. All Maps to be double sided.
Wood: Wood posts - 4' x 4' x dependent on sign type - Micronized Pressure Treated.
Connections: All metal to metal connections - 1" stainless steel rivet. All map panel fasteners to be stainless steel. All metal to wood connections - 1" hot dip galv. button head bolt.
Details: Fabricator to supply shop drawings detailing all footings, fasteners, and materials for each sign type. In addition, fabricator to provide structural engineering calculations to verify footings will be su�cient for calculated wind loads for all Kiosk and Beach Access Sign Package signs.
Text: Font family: Highway Gothic All fonts to be MUTCD compliant. All vehicular signage lettering sized to MUTCD standards. Shop drawings provided by fabricator to outline compliance. All symbols to be sized according to MUTCD standards. All pedestrian signage lettering to be legible and consistent on each sign type.
